If you're referring to me, which I know you are, then you're not looking very good in all of this are you? Shame you've chosen to ignore my civilised post above to you. This just shows that you aren't capable of conversing polite!ly with somebody who holds a different opinion to you...your problem, not mine. Oh I get I'm on ignore...making you look more childish but as you won't see this, you can carry on having digs at me without having the balls to address me directly
I was referring to Martin. Truce? ......

Forget what the thread is about now, hope its Martin as I love him now, want him to win. Ive had some laughs on some of these threads about the Jungle and hope it continues, we all need a giggle... and Martin and some of the others have did that, as well as some quotes buy the DS lot...so its been enjoyable, sad it will be over at the weekend.

Reality.
How to respond to someone who clearly hasn't read and comprehended a post and instead needs to carry on indulging in more negativity, melodrama, fantasy and vacuous insults.......sounds familiar. A clue, it's another name beginning with M

More "reality". Finding some way to not need the constant use of arrogance and insults against FM's would be a good place to start discovering some of the pleasing benefits of reality.
Self help, just as Martin's done, for that extra appeal.
the difference between you and i, i dont give a flying fcuk what you or others think of me. so trying to repair the damage you did to your persona ( posting nasty comments about the nice lovable martin lol) by trying to have a go at me wont work sunshine!

erm... its you who didnt comprehend why i mentioned hitler

Hi calamity....me too. I can actually feel myself smiling with him. Even something so simp!e as him nearly falling off his hammock can be hilarious
He seems to be really getting into it now and enjoying the experience oh it was when he went walkabout with the bucket over his head , best laugh in the show so far.

If you don't care, why are you always trying to get us to share your view? You've gotta hop on twitter haven't you to drum up some support?

i dont do twatter....

i dont care what you think of me..... thats not the same as saying i dont care about the pov im trying to put across. im here to discuss issues, and if i see/read something i dont agree with i will debate the issue.

i dont think adam is putting it on

i dont think martins a nasty awful person.

i have provided reasoned pov to support these points.

but i dont care about what any of you strangers in cyberworld think of me, im not here to make friends or have my ego massaged by sucking up to weirdos on an internet forum. i have a life in the real world

erm.....because it was absurdity.
Don't concern yourself with me, I'm perfectly secure and comfortable with my opinions and capable of allowing others theirs.
You've shown repeatedly you care waaay too much about what others think of you sunshine by your constant juvenile aggression and insults towards FMs who disagree with you.
Again you've resorted to doing the same with the added glorious stroppy juvenile bingo card bonus of self delusion "I don't give a flying ****" and "I don't care", now^^^^^^^ seemingly gone into overdrive, stuck on repeat and of course accompanied by more personal attacks

I wasn't a fan at first but he has really grown on me. I am not liking the way some of the others are reacting to him in recent days. I don't think he was being bullied but last nights episode was the first time I felt it was getting uncomfortable. He couldn't seem to do anything right with the ones that don't like him.

oh dear now were weirdos, what a sad state of affairs when a poster feels they have to slag off other posters in such a way, Being nice to others isnt sucking up, its getting along , we dont all have to share each others points of view , but we can respect another human being who maybe we could get along with in the real world as you call it. Im sad you feel the way you do about us. This is just a telly programme that will be gone soon, its daft to lose it over something forgotten by this time next week...also some people only have a computer for their lives, I like to get on with others, but maybe thats a weakness to some.

I've asked elsewhere what exactly it was that Martin did that was so bad. As I recall, he moaned a bit about lugging the water up the hill and complained about the food. Well, he's unfit (was even more so then) and struggled visibly with lugging the water up the hill. Do we want him to pretend he enjoyed doing it? And - rice and beans is crap. At least he's honest about it.

Other than that, from what I've seen, he's been unfailingly nice to his fellow campmates. Despite the contempt that some of them regularly show him. Sure he's snappy and a bit 'different' in how he interacts with people. He's got poor social skills. But he has not shown one ounce of malice or nastiness.

It's not really anywhere near as hard as you continue to make out why some of us find what you continue to see as Martin's 'loveable quirkiness' hard to warm to.

Why not just accept that your perception of him is not one that everyone shares instead of constantly expressing shock and bewilderment at other people who don't share your views?

It's interesting that I'm not getting an answer to the question, though, no? What exactly did he do that was so nasty?

He's done nothing nasty. Instead he's made a few bad calls with how he's communicated. He's handled himself well when he's been condescended by the alpha male and his cockney side kick. One went first and the other has no intention of being civilised to Martin. It shows him for what he is. One minute crying and the next snapping at the man who tried to comfort him. Yeah, what a legend.

Oh, it's really not interesting, trust me.

If you had any genuine interest in understanding why people don't see Martin in the same glowing light as you do, you'd have taken the trouble to read the numerous threads and posts on here that do just that, and would give you the answer that apparently is still strangely eluding you.

None so blind etc.

They don't have an answer Patsy. They probably think Larry's opening move in tonight's show was perfectly acceptable.

Martin is probably annoying - but he isn't spiteful.

I've never once said I see him in a glowing light. He was quite considerably down my list of favourites right through; Lisa, Carol, Joel in that order. Mind you, it would be funny if he won.

Still no answer, mind.

Loved the fact that Larry looked visibly shocked to be out of the jungle before Martin.

I had the same favourites as you. They would have been the perfect finalists. Sigh.

I'm hoping for Joel to win but I'd love to see Martin and Sam in the final with him.
