Feel like it's almost over before it's begun

Does anyone else feel this way? It's just been really weird this year, a different feel to it all. Don't know if I'm explaining myself very well..

3 weeks goes quickly, so as soon as it's been a week and a half you feel it's nearly over as as 1 st person is soon to go then not much happens other than trials and goodbye speeches each night, no reason to add any drama or tension.
CBB is being cut back to 3 weeks again so that will go quick too, I think you really need some drama and fireworks in the first few days.
I also feel we have barley scratched the service getting to know the celebs other than the two or 3 big characters.
Plus it's too cosy yet us viewers feel left out as its boring to watch, it's like they are just waiting for the money hoping no arguments will happen.

I agree, feel like it's gone really fast this year.

This year is the first one in a while that I haven't lost interest half-way through, so that may explain it for me!

It has been a slightly odd year - feels like there hardly been any trials as a load of them have been team challenges and hardly any via the public vote.

It's the same every year for me. Its the only reality TV I watch now and I always wish it was longer. The last week always goes by even faster.
There hasn't been a lot of focus on the camp mates talking together which I enjoy more than endless tasks involving critters and screaming.

In contrast, I feel like it's dragged. 3 weeks is just about right but to me at least, it feels like it's already been on for 3 weeks. It's gone sooo slow, it didn't help it felt like nothing exciting was happening till Martin and Danny arrived

How are they going to get down to 3 next Sunday?

In previous years there seemed to be a solid block of daily trials in the first 1 and a half weeks, and you'd get the years when the same person was repeatedly voted to do them.

This year there doesn't seem to have been this solid block, with various variations, newcomers doing the trial, team trial, duo trials etc, very few standard ones where the public votes for one person.

Since they stopped using the phone lines for the trials it seems to have gone like this. Maybe deliberately to ensure the same person doesn't keep getting picked and refusing to do the trial.

I'm loving it! Loving it less since Martin and Danny came in, but that should soon be rectified!

It's definitely different this year. Several gorgeous women, yet no shower
/bikini scenes. Hot men and hot women, but not one little junglemance. No personal disclosures. Nobody weeping and wailing about missing their kids. No.serious meltdowns. It's far too cosy.
