Oti has had three terrible runs at this. Daniel Küblebok was not that great. Anthony only has 3 finctioning limbs and Niels Ruf was just so unpopular when a couple withdrew, he was not allowed back due to his unpopularity it was their Ed Balls esque character Ulli and Katherine Menzinger who were allowed in and got all the way to 6th.

I feel so bad for her disasterous attempts that I find myself living for her success as she (seconded to Natalie) ultimately deserves everything Danny has delivered to her.

Wow, I didn't know that was how she left this years German version. That's so unfair. She deserves all of her success with Danny. I'm rooting for them ever more now.

Bless her. I love Oti ... she's a breath of fresh air.”

Well said!

So maybe something personal mixed in?

Whatever the reason, she did confirm #happytears

She is lovely. I know she had a bad run of partners in her celebs but I am so glad Danny is paired with her. They are so good together.

It was a fantastic dance and she was moved.

Did anyone notice at the very beginning before they moved that it looked like Danny had one helluva mullet?

yes it was a Samba
maybe not the prissy Samba that goes on in ballrooms these days but it was more true to an original Samba as it was first an African dance with a drum beat that was taken by the slaves to the Americas
It was then taken up by urban Brazilians where it still resembled the African beat and movement
North American big bands sanitized it with big band sounds and Samba schools started in Rio and it became more and more popular and is now the national dance of Brazil
The ballroom Samba has now become far removed from what it first started as but can stil be found in some flavelas
Samba is not just a dance to Brazil it is also food, clothes, carnival and art
