Totally agree !!!
Found tonights show really underwhelming .

1. Not getting Ore at the moment. Him and Joanne trying to be different might be their downfall.
2. Then again it worked for Danny this week.
3. Louise is great, but doesn't thrill me. The judges are thrilled though.
4. Claudia's dance was to her strengths this week, acrobatics and lifting.
5. Oksana and Katya had the look of doom on their faces after Rinder and Ed's routines.

1. Poor Judge, he was well and truly stitched up tonight. Really fear for him and programme will be lesser for it if he goes.
2. Claudia really impressed me tonight, but the judges seem to have decided she is the 4th best dancer and mark her accordingly whatever she does. If a 10 was given to Ore for that paso then Claudia should have certainly got a 10. Yes Bruno I mean you!
3. Really hoping for a shock bottom 2 and Ore to leave.
4. Tess's dress was an abomination.
5. So happy for Danny and Oti, they deserved that 40.

1)I thought the waltz was Louise's strongest dance so far.
2)Time to go now Ed.You've given me some great entertainment but the jokes over now.
3)Why does Tess keep talking to people like they are a four year old who's scraped their knee
4)Yet again I didn't like Joanne's choreography.Who want's a contemporary dance instead of a normal paso?
5)Danny and Oti not winning the cha cha challenge was laughable, he was an absolute country mile ahead of everyone else.

1. This season can't be over soon enough. Those scores *fumes* What a fix!
2. Judges were overly critical to Judge Rinder. It was not perfect but did they really need to tear into him so much? No. They just want to hit the GBP over the head and run them over with his imperfections while glossing over everyone else's...
3. Let's be honest, that 40 was not for Danny, it was for Oti. Ridiculous.
4. Claudia is a class act, but AJ reeks of desperation.
5. Ore's Paso was atmospheric, but still overmarked.

1) Who won the "Design A Loony Neckline For Tosser" this week?

2) Hooray for Louise once again for providing the obvious toilet/tea/snooze break!!!!!

3) I have a horrible feeling that by this time next week I will I have no further reason for watching this series

4) What do the judges have against Claudia...maybe she's not available for the tour or some scheme to milk the Strictly cash cow Craig in particular has up his sleeve...whereas Louise/Danny do have time on their hands and Ore has a full time job already.

5) Will we ever see a non stage school/non entertainment based person/ non former boy or girl band winner again?

You do know whose she's married to

1. Better dancers this year and new pros means choreography has been outstanding for some dances.
2. Loads of samba content from Danny and Oti that I missed first time because of the styling.
3. Sorry, Claudia not undermatked for me - not a jot of passion and connection between her and AJ which is essential for AT. Hated the eye make up too.
4. Kept looking for the Paso in Ore's dance.
5. Is Louise in danger which is why she needed the extra mark from the Fixathon?

Claudia AT , for my liking she was too much in the air, which means you get robbed of the intricate footwork my only downer on their dance

Thoughts on contestants for week 10 (in alphabetical order):


Danny & Oti - soon as the indigenous drums signaled their presence at the top, thought the teeming jungle started to come alive. Nice to see an animated Danny pull out with confident promenade runs, into controlled voltas, and to parade the occasion with timely walks/locks under the torch lit canopy. Liked how the chants climbed midway, as if they were trying to awaken and summon higher powers to guide their ceremonial dance. A unique experience sure to leave one gently bouncing in their rhythmic seat.

Louise & Kevin - the history etched in their faces as they unexpectedly met; her left hand against his shoulder in partial hold telling, as her indecision/hesitation showed and unraveled. Maybe a glimmer of hope back in hold with her soft head placement in pivots, only to feel the lingering heartache in her outstretched arms as she had found another. Thought the routine was rich in storytelling, dripping with emotions, as Kevin took solace in the bittersweet breakup that she at least had “tears in [her] eyes” in the very end.

Ore & Joanne - thought he made clear in his mind who he was in the routine and that he carried it out in an interesting paso doble. Was a bit worried that he might be square, but it was nice to see the needed torque in his body and the extreme shaping (Len). Maybe if he could elongate his spine, shoulder blades down, and create an even longer neck (with a head that's not positioned too forward) would've been nice. But it was nice to see how he used his whole body well and carried out a subtle confrontational feel to the very end.

1. Danny and Oti are astronomically BRILLIANT that samba was so WOW!! (and I don't like Latin stuff much)
2. Muppet Winkelwoman looking prat like again, what the heck was she wearing, a doyly?
3. How hypocrytical - the judges "advising" Ed how best to perform in the DO knowing full well they were planning to eject him, however good or otherwise he danced.
4. Katya is a star. What a lovely genuine outpouring. She kept Ed in, no doubt of it.
5. Kevin and Karen Clifton's dance. OMG, what a load of gyrating crap.

1. I LOVED Danny & Oti's Samba and kept thinking of the stage version of The Lion King so why was Len prattling on about the Amazonian Jungle?

2. Claudia & AJ - an FM wrote satirically last week that Claudia's feet seldom touch the ground and it's true.

3. Neither Robert nor Ed lived up to expectations in the main show but Ed definitely upped his game in the DO - he was robbed.

4 What were Kevin & Karen doing?

5. Craig should never have divulged his secret indulgence without marking to suit.

Really nice comments as always. I enjoyed your story of Louise and Kevin's waltz very much. Thank you.

1) Judge Rinder's Rumba was awful, very lucky he was in the DO with Ed!!

2)Missed the first two dances as was delayed at work but caught up on you tube!! Danny/Oti looked impressive!!

3) Not keen on Ore/Jo's routine as I'm a sucker for a traditional Paso, but very dramatic & very well danced

4) Ellie Goulding's got a very weak voice!! Always thought so & that performance proved it!!

5) Ed & Katya's farewell speeches were one of the most beautiful moments I've seen on the show, very genuine!! Note to Strictly: KATYA IS A GEM!! KEEP HER AT ALL COSTS!!

Post script to note 5 - and give her a ringer next year

That made me laugh so hard and YES!

1. Forgetting the undermarked/overmarked controversies, I thought the positions on the leader board were spot on.

2. Loved Louise's waltz, elegant, beautiful footwork, and touching. Sometimes less is more unless...

3. it's an incredible Samba. Bloody wonderful, well done Danny and Oti.

4. Loved Ore's Paso, would never have dreamed he could be a little menacing and sexy. Great shaping, power and the best use of guyliner this series.

5. So glad Rob Rinder is in to live another week.

1. This was a much better show after the last few weeks, which were poor by comparison.

2. Katya & Ed leaving was the saddest exit of the series for me. I know that it was their time to go, but the tears and pure emotion from Katya was moving and I loved Ed's speech. I really want to see Katya back next year (and they should invite Ed back for a future Christmas Special and pair him with Katya). I think she's the best of the new pros.

3. Danny & Oti were FANTASTIC! That's a dance that I will be remembering for a very long time. Amazing! Never seen such an excellent Samba - choreography, African fusion theme, execution and entertainment. Dance of the series so far, imo.

4. I can't understand how Louise & Kevin won the ChaChaCha-athon. Didn't she stumble? Perhaps the judges didn't see it. I thought that Danny & Oti should have won that.

5. I liked Claudia & AJ's AT. I think it was a difficult dance for Claudia & AJ due to her height (and short legs) as well as the height difference between them. There is just so much emphasis on what the legs are doing in this dance. I think the judges should have given her a bit more credit for that. It seems unfair that they haven't yet received any 10s.

But with another celebrity who wasn't so good, she wouldn't have got a 40! It was the combination of the two which made the dance so brilliant.

I have to say, first time round I couldn't take my eyes off Oti ... mesmerizing

Then I played it back and just watched Danny, and he was marvelous TOO !

You're absolutely right Gill ... it was the combination that made it fabulous
