I don't think he'll die,he'll do a runner and return 3-5 years later. I also think Whitney will be pregnant (hence the reason why they've been sleeping together a lot) when he leaves. He'll return to see Whitney or just in general and see him with the child, not knowing it's his, and assuming Whitney's moved on and has her own family when really she hasn't and has raised the child on her own (with the help of Linda/the carters)

Hopefully Lee's awful family will be a distant memory in 3-5 years.

I am thinking that Lee will do a runner and Whitney will be pregnant. I think Lee's exit will have to lead to Linda's temporary exit as well so maybe Linda is upset and goes to her Mum's.

If the actor hasn't already finished filming yet, I am more inclined to think he will do a Frank Butcher and that will eventually bring Linda back to the Square. I could see the family not telling her at first and L being hopping mad when she finds out.

Although if Kellie Bright is only having a short maternity leave, I think there is a chance that they have filmed the odd scene to slot in so Linda isn't off screen solidly. Say for instance she goes to help Elaine, she's hardly on the other side of the world is she? It would be more realistic for Linda to stay with her but pop back to Walford occasionally.

Maybe he will get sent down for lamping that smug git he works with who will fall knock his head on something and die, Lee will get convicted of manslaughter or murder.

Anything that stops the cretin for downing his headphones, hugging and high fiving the other goons on the floor and goading thick Lee whenever he's managed to con a poor unsuspecting customer with his patter about their name or birthday.

The Carter family has been a popular addition to EE so I can't see them leaving.

I'd much rather see the back of that horrid Louise or boring Lauren.

I actually think one possibility is that he snaps and accidentally kills that scumbag Osman who's bullying him at work. The fact that the episodes are now focusing on Lee at work suggests that his exit may be related to the harassment he faces. He may either go down if he hands himself into the police or goes on the run. The latter might be a repeat of Ryan's initial exit when he killed Rob Grayson. Don't think they'd do that again to someone connected to Whitney.

If it's manslaughter with an early guilty plea, it keeps the door open for him rather than killing him off. That is if Carters remain on EE.

Tbh I think the audience would be sympathetic to Lee if this were to happen given the level of provocation. Osman is a recurring character, but is portrayed as someone who the audience can hate quite easily. It'd hardly be like Ronnie murdering someone or Jane covering up a death. Both of which harmed their characters.

If SOC can do this, it'll show that he's perfectly capable of throwing in sensationalism when a storyline calls for it.

NM I am not really into fan fiction, but this idea is a really good one and with the way things are going it would be a great story line. I find the fact that Lee was an army boy and could really handle himself, to being a victim (I know it's the depression) a bit hard to swallow at times, and this would revitalise my faith in the story liners to a degree.

Thanks
