World class? Steady on! It was a decent vocal - that's all.

It was done well, but both performances were generic and had nothing of Saara about them. Her performances never do.

She's a perfect vocalist, a talented pianist, she delivers the lyrics with such emotion and yet she's a fun show girl. There is no one like her. Her versatility is incredible. She makes me forget the other acts completely.

this

it never ceases to amaze me that every year we get people building up a contestant to be the next great thing in the music world, as soon as the show finishes they disappear, then 12 months later it all happens again

you would think that people would learn from history but apparently not

saara is a very good copycat but thats all she does, to succeed outside of a karaoke talent show you need to have some sort of USP and she doesn't have one. which is probably why despite doing well on other talent shows in europe she has never managed to turn that into success as an artist in her own right

Saara's performances are her show reel for the West End auditions her agent has lined up for her. She'll definitely get a decent role after this type of exposure.

She's so obviously a professional amongst amateurs, though, and as such should never have been allowed to enter the show.

You are forgetting musical theatre, which is where most of the finalists are happy to end up as it was their ambition from the start. Beats Tescos that's for sure.

i dont think many of the people here raving about her being "world class" are thinking of her being musical theatre

i'm not saying she cant have a career after the show but she isn't "world class" by any definition of the term

If that were the case then surely she'd get the words right.

I'm not saying you can't have opinions, but they aren't "world class" by the definition of the term.

I thought it was called the XF because it was about having a USP but that was in the years when they were talking about global superstars and major recording artists!

Last year's winner was at best a featured singer on one of the latest DJ/Producers singles, and that's how it has turned out.

The programme gives you some idea about how an artist would perform a song but later success depends on the strength of the material they are given or they can produce themselves.

That is correct because in case everyone has forgotten she shouldnt have even been on the show along with HoneyG. Only pathetic manipulation by Cowell and the producers got them onto the show in the first place and their constant overhyping has got them so far on the live shows.
People swallow that hype and hang onto every word the judges say.

Wake up and smell the coffee
HoneyG - novelty number one for Cowell $$$$$
Saara - promoting the brand in Scandinavua and the baltics $$$$$$$

It was not world class, she looked a mess and didn't connect with the audience

the rest of the contestants are nothing compared to Saara

Because she's a professional singer and has been for years and they're all amateurs who've only just given up their day jobs.

Kieran from 5 After Midnight has had a starring role in the West End. He appeared in Thriller Live as Michael Jackson. He had a recording contract with Virgin Records and Universal Music. He's had a solo album out which was championed by Radio 1 and worked with Beyoncé's team. He was managed by the Insanity Group who have a record label with close ties to Syco.

And he wastes time posting on here about it - even more bizarre!

I thought Saara was excellent last night, ABBA songs are notoriously hard to sing, and she was one of the few on this programme to do their songs justice.

He's just waiting for the moment Fleur East is wheeled out to sing Sax again (not that there's anything wrong with her).

Sara did really well and she played the piano live. Seems like a lovely woman. I really don't understand people like him who are so deeply bitter and resentful. Just cool it down. Life is great if you just try to enjoy it .

To be fair all of the acts left in there are generic, the interesting Music styles were tookout.

I don't think any of them are world class - and it is usually most noticeable when they have to sing in the final and get shown up as average singers when they have to sing with the pros.

Saara is by far the best singer there.
And her version of 'Winner Takes It All' was as far from "copycat" or "karaoke" as you can get.

Don't think she'll win though. It'll be Matt Terry or 5AM.
But hopefully she won't just disappear back to Finland, never to be heard of again.
