I know its an unpopular opinion on this thread, but I agree with the part above about being in the air to long. All week they were commenting on ITT or the training VT's about their height difference and how hard it would be to choreograph to that issue and when I watched the dance Saturday it was obvious how they got around it. If you keep her in the air through half the dance it makes issues with floor work irrelevant. They made the most of her strong core to stay fixed in position as AJ carried her around, but I will admit the floor work did look ok, it wasn't incredible as a lot of people here seem to think, but of course each to their own. We have seen it done better in the past. It was a coherent and competent dance, but I agree with the 9 scores.

Looks like they were told to think of a reason. Louise can't act well at all , and gets 10s. Danny is an actor- and sepnt 3 years learning to act. . Ore usually has a silly look on his face. And they think those two are the ones not developing their acting enough.
AHAHAHAHA really funny... coz everywhere on social media was voicing out disappointment of under-marking... now they have to answer it... and the answer was so rehearse... you can just tell it was big BS.

I thought straight 9s was fair tonight. They were overmarked last week but been undermarked in the past.

I'm delighted Claudia W questioned the judges on Lens Lens...Darcy's answer was such BS, such a "oh crap they're giving out about us on social media, let's make up an answer" thing...I'm really hoping it's a shock DO next week, maybe show the judges that the public are not to be trifles with!
Garbage from the judges. Rubbish answer from Darcy. The connection was good. She was astounding. Such control. I am very annoyed that she didn't get 10's.
Maybe for Claudia to get a well deserved 10 she has to change her name to Clifton & relocate to Grimsby or be Partnered by a Clifton

Though both Darcey and Bruno said the same thing in the live show about her continuing to build the connection.
I think this might help Claudia because if and when she does get a 10, especially if it comes from Craig, she might just get a winner's momentum. The others have all peaked, one way or another.

She could be a Ramps, I guess. Don't think he got his first 10 until the semi-final. However, I think Danny has this in the bag (deservedly so), there is such a gulf that 2nd place would be as good as winning. I just want her to make the final, her show dance could be incredible.

ah I always believe if Claudia is in the final, she is a potential winner... coz she gonna dance charleston or maybe AT... both delivered a wow factor... and I'm sure their Show dance is gonna have even more WOW effect.

Her Showdance does have the potential for wow but for Len and Bruno they have the benefit of comparing with other female gymnasts from Dancing with the Stars which IMHO contains THE BEST dancer across all series and seasons of the UK and US franchise and that's Shawn Johnson (also a gymnast). As much as I love Claudia her Showdance should she make it needs to be tight to even compare
Also, i feel sorry for her with the whole 'she needs to emote more' excuse. She's 19 and an athlete. She doesn't have as much life experience to draw on or an acting background. It must be tough for her.

I disagree, I think it was an entirely valid answer and completely true - there was no real emotion or connection between AJ and Claudia in that AT, no intensity at all.

I don't see why anyone should feel sorry for her - the performance aspect is a part of dancing, what she signed up to the show to do. Her choice, if she needs to work on it then she needs to do that.

Am perfectly prepared to be corrected if wrong, but is this week not the first week she has been told that she needs to connect more? Both Darcey and Bruno mentioned it, but I don't remember any of them saying anything before. Can't work on something if she hasn't been told to do so.
