Joke acts on XF are nothing new but a joke act getting this kind of special treatment week after week??? We have never seen this or anything close before!

We've had Mamma G . Puppy G and now the Mannequin challenge not to mention the stage invasion which seemed totally fixed to me, also standing ovations nearly every week for dire performances!

She also seems to receive special treatment in the contestants house and keeps herself to herself ......all this leads me to contemplate that which was speculated when she first appeared....that she is employed by XF or has done some sort of special deal with producers?

Initially i thought this was likely to be rubbish .....but you know what now I'm really inclined to believe it!

She deserves special treatment because she's one of a kind. She deserves to sail to the final.

If she wins that will be the end of the show, and we can all celebrate.

The faux praise and standing ovations IMHO she's already put this show on a path they will never recover. don't actually blame her but the judges comments are just insane. the OTT praise for everything she does

It really feels like I am watching a parody of The X Factor. I almost expect David Mitchell and Robert Webb to pop up after each time she performs.

She makes Geraldine, R Wayne and 2 up, 2 down seem like credible, genuine artists

I take the whole show with a pinch of salt, so Honey G probably isn't as big a joke to me as people who take pop seriously. I mean, I have trouble taking the whole show seriously, I'm just happy they aren't all doing dirgey songs.

Yes, yes. Honey G is the truth.

To be honest, I think Louis and Sharon are too old to relate to today's pop scene. Louis consistently picks ludicrous acts (Bratavio, anyone?). Sharon is also stuck in the past. Simon appears to be more aware of today's pop scene, as is Nicole. I'm going to be controversial here - I really liked the X-Factor year when Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora were on the panel. At least they're young and in touch with the current scene. Having said that (to quote Simon), I think Sharon might be on a winner with Saara.

Is Honey G part of a Black Mirror episode which has got mixed up with the X Factor?

When are grown ups going to get the message that the X-Factor is not a singing competition,it's a TV show mix of soap opera/karaoke
TV shows need viewers and controversial acts draw in viewers.

Joke act or not,Honey G is certainly more entertaining/visible than the rest of the "wouldn't recognise them if they knocked on my door" singers.

Whoever wins the show this year,,will be a forgotten memory this time next year.

As much as The X Factor can annoy me with it's prejudices towards certain genres and styles, and Instrument playing, I wouldn't want it to end as it can still have it's entertaining moments I think.

I do agree that any joke act winning The X Factor will be the final nail in it's coffin though as that's the only credible thing that this show has got left, if it loses that aspect by having Honey G win then I dread what the ratings would be for series 14 if it was to be made.

I think Honey G is special in the way that Susan Boyle is , they may be on the autistic spectrum .I admire her guts and determination , though I have to admit at first I thought it was Jennifer Saunders having a joke .

Problem is at least Susan had the voice and talent to back it up (usually), and she showed humility when she came runner up in the final of BGT I think if Honey was on the spectrum we'd know by now, but it doesnt create a good impression of autistic people, most people said she's a loner or just weird, and she acts like a graceless cow.

She puts a hat and glasses on, has a go at rapping, and because of that she's on the autistic spectrum??? Do some of you read back what you type, ever??

Why do you think the judges and producers love Honey so much? She's playing the game! In many ways she's the perfect TXF act, cause she's able to stir things up so much, which is what the show needs and actively persues. Honey is the one people will remember from this series!

Ha Ha yes she does look like Jennifer Saunders. I can't knock Honey G. I mean she gets up every week, performs and gets through to the following week. We should all be clued up to X Factor being what it is now. Serve X Factor right if she does win. It won't upset me because I won't be buying her records but I am enjoying watching her each week. Even my OH who hates this show comes in just to watch Honey G.

I would love to know what the other contestants think of her. I would not be surprised if she is universally loathed. She comes across as loathsome.

When Honey G's mum started playing MC Hammer on the piano, it was a mirror image of Paul McCartney playing Blankety Blank on the piano whilst Geraldine sang along ahead of TV themes week!

Exactly, the show needs honey g to add something different and it gets people talking about the show. If you take her out you have just got a group of boring singers doing the same thing every week, that wont draw enough viewers in, like you say its become an entertainment show rather than just a singing competition and they need joke acts.
