"Everything on TV is a lie" . They brought her in and knew exactly what they were doing.
The X-Factor has been stale for a fair while now, if you have 10 competent acts going through its going to be even more dull than spending a wet weekend in Bognor, trapped in a caravan with Andy Murray with only a copy of June 1997 Readers Digest to entertain you, which he insist on reading out loud cover to cover. er, yeah, you get the point. Add in someone so utterly rubbish, then some people start moaning about it all over social media. And because its the internet some will argue back In her defence. And some people will vote for her to stay on as a 'laugh', and some will vote for others because 'she ha to go, its gone too far'. In the meantime £, £, £, ££££ for the x-factor as those 35p votes come in. Honey G=marketing scam. An effective one. |

I think more people would have warmed to her had she shown some self deprecation, however, she was so up herself and so convinced (whether it was an act or not) of her God given talent that she became nauseating. She came across surly and rude and at the end of the day, thoroughly dislikable and that schtick praising the producers and their mothers and everyone else connected with the Fix Factor at the end has done nothing to change my view.
Also some of them WERE talented (imo) ![]() Did you notice when she gave her closing speech she had a different voice? Interesting thoughts she may be on the austism spectrum, unfortunately (if its true) she's showing a bad side to it, the rudeness, the aloofness and social awkwardness. |

Saw a bit of her appearance on This Morning - talking about how she has been singing all her life, has a music degree, is a musician. If that is true, she is the least talented person ever to take to the X Factor stage. With that background and training she still has no sense of music, rhythm or performance.
She won't accept she was the joke act. Which I guess is true in a way as she certainly isn't funny. |

Well this is YOUR opinion of course. ...I will beg to differ! ! She made it in the top 5....thats what getting folks backs up....hence the ongoing talking about her even after she has left...if she wanted to enter the show and do what she wanted to do. .......and call it whatever she desired....well good for her!
! She should be proud....hope she brings out more of this both on the tour and for years to come. |

I agree with you. She was a big ponce full of her own self importance and convinced she was a credible rapper, like you say she came across as rude, and could have shown some more humour. I think whether you enjoy the joke acts or not, many others (Chico, Wagner, Katie W, J&E etc) have performed with good grace and a smile, whatever happened. Honey didn't do this.

I agree. ^^^ I don't know whether to laugh or cry every time the judges praise her as if she is some kind of new God given talent.
It's pathetic and laughable, and so is anyone who likes her. Ha ha LOL, yeah it so was! Why does the 'something different' have to be talentless shit though? Agree. Honey G offers nothing; she is talentless, unfunny, and ugly. |

So you're saying it doesn't matter if you can't sing, dance, rap, perform to a rhythm or in time to a beat, and look ridiculous as long as people know your name?

Honey G when she first appeared in her shell suit, was blindingly awful - a parody of a rapper. I think the whole thing is a spoof to create drama and controversy.
I found the act unpleasant and painful to watch. It was treating viewers like idiots. As for the scripted reactions from the judges.... |

I thought that too Grim. She sounded very different to her 'rap' persona!

Rather interestingly, she's removed all of her tracks from Soundcloud.
Clearly she has done us all a service by doing this so for that we should applaud her

I don't live in England so what is the big deal about her going to a grammar school? Do you have to be posh to go to one? Would you not go to a private school if you were posh

Apparently she said on This Morning (?) she hadn't actually rapped live before the X Factor.
Those of us who thought she was really bad live were about right. I think she is a Keith Lemon type creation. |

I still can't quite get over this notion that she's "mentally ill" or has had a breakdown of some sorts.
Would people say that Jedward were mentally ill because of how much they believe in their own ability ? |
