"Everything on TV is a lie" . They brought her in and knew exactly what they were doing.

The X-Factor has been stale for a fair while now, if you have 10 competent acts going through its going to be even more dull than spending a wet weekend in Bognor, trapped in a caravan with Andy Murray with only a copy of June 1997 Readers Digest to entertain you, which he insist on reading out loud cover to cover.

er, yeah, you get the point.

Add in someone so utterly rubbish, then some people start moaning about it all over social media. And because its the internet some will argue back In her defence. And some people will vote for her to stay on as a 'laugh', and some will vote for others because 'she ha to go, its gone too far'. In the meantime £, £, £, ££££ for the x-factor as those 35p votes come in.

Honey G=marketing scam. An effective one.

I think if it weren't for the free votes via the app, she'd have been gone week 1 of the lives.

I agree with you. She was a big ponce full of her own self importance and convinced she was a credible rapper, like you say she came across as rude, and could have shown some more humour. I think whether you enjoy the joke acts or not, many others (Chico, Wagner, Katie W, J&E etc) have performed with good grace and a smile, whatever happened. Honey didn't do this.

Also some of them WERE talented (imo)

Did you notice when she gave her closing speech she had a different voice?
Interesting thoughts she may be on the austism spectrum, unfortunately (if its true) she's showing a bad side to it, the rudeness, the aloofness and social awkwardness.

Saw a bit of her appearance on This Morning - talking about how she has been singing all her life, has a music degree, is a musician. If that is true, she is the least talented person ever to take to the X Factor stage. With that background and training she still has no sense of music, rhythm or performance.

She won't accept she was the joke act. Which I guess is true in a way as she certainly isn't funny.

She should be proud....hope she brings out more of this both on the tour and for years to come.”

After the tour whatever she does won't last for years and her hope to become a credible rap artist is just pipe dreams I'm afraid. She may have just one novelty single or album out which I suspect the majority of buyers will be her kiddie fans and some adults who want a fun album for the festive season, after that back to the day job.

It didn't help retweeting every tweet she got singing her praises - came across as having a real ego

It's pathetic and laughable, and so is anyone who likes her.

Ha ha LOL, yeah it so was!

Why does the 'something different' have to be talentless shit though?

Agree. Honey G offers nothing; she is talentless, unfunny, and ugly.”

If you think Honey G offers nothing then you really need to get a grip of yourself. Honey G IS this year's X-factor. For the past few years the X factor has been utterly irrelevant, even people who don't even watch the show know who Honey G is this year, do you honestly think the same can be said of the people who are left - whoever they are?

So you're saying it doesn't matter if you can't sing, dance, rap, perform to a rhythm or in time to a beat, and look ridiculous as long as people know your name?

Honey G when she first appeared in her shell suit, was blindingly awful - a parody of a rapper. I think the whole thing is a spoof to create drama and controversy.
I found the act unpleasant and painful to watch. It was treating viewers like idiots. As for the scripted reactions from the judges....

I thought that too Grim. She sounded very different to her 'rap' persona!

I did think she was joshing along with the rest of us until last week and really saw how seriously she took it all.

I wondered that too sometimes

I don't live in England so what is the big deal about her going to a grammar school? Do you have to be posh to go to one? Would you not go to a private school if you were posh

Rather interestingly, she's removed all of her tracks from Soundcloud.

Clearly she has done us all a service by doing this so for that we should applaud her

It's another word for the same thing in England, I believe.

Apparently she said on This Morning (?) she hadn't actually rapped live before the X Factor.

Those of us who thought she was really bad live were about right.

I think she is a Keith Lemon type creation.

I still can't quite get over this notion that she's "mentally ill" or has had a breakdown of some sorts.

Would people say that Jedward were mentally ill because of how much they believe in their own ability ?

It's the judges' reactions that have really made the whole thing laughable. If you look at past 'joke' acts who've made the live shows, Simon has pretty much panned them all from week 1, yet he's done the complete opposite with Honey G, despite her being worse than many of those people. It's bizarre!
