Danny, Ed, Judge Rinder and Ore MUST all have ballroom this week as they need to save their one remaining latin for the semis.

Claudia and Louise could be on either. I would suspect that Claudia will skip the Rumba, leaving her to do the Salsa as her semi-final latin... except that would leave her doing ballroom this week as well. It seems unlikely to me that Louise would do both the salsa and samba in consecutive weeks, so I would guess that one of them is the dance she's missing... except that would ALSO mean her doing ballroom this week. Hmm.

Ed and Katya- Argentine Tango

yeah! Musicals week! One of my faves!!

We're one couple short this year thanks to Mr D.I.V.A dropping out... so it might be alittle less special

I kind of wish Musicals Week was this week and we had a Dance Fusion Week next week instead of the Cha Cha Challenge.

Hoping Claudia does the QS if she survives. Her footwork is superb. Should be a good dance for her.

That would leave the semi's very Salsa/Samba heavy and next week nearly exclusively ballroom, if a couple who's supposed to do Latin next week doesn't make it. It may be a case that one couple (probably Ore & Jo and maybe Oksana and Judge too) do AT and a ballroom instead of a Latin and a Ballroom. Similar to what Georgia was supposed to do last year. Therefore I predict next week:

I wonder if everyone will do Ballroom next week and they'll have some sort of Latin group dance - unmarked by the judges but gives the viewers an extra opportunity to decide. Jive would work well for that seeing as they've all done it. Or Charleston.

I think the producers have dug themselves into a hole in that regard!

I think the quickstep will be hard for Claudia and AJ with their height difference and previous gaping issues. I think they'd be best to skip it.

Which dances had gapping issues??

I was gonna say the same - her frame in the last few ballroom dances have all got good feedback and if anything she has the technique of the ballroom and steps, the main issue seems to be seeking the dance/ getting into a character.

Gapping has never been an issue

Overall I think Danny has the best dance for musicals week with American Smooth probable and fully expect another 40 followed by Jo & Ore who could do a great Foxtrot or maybe Quickstep to echo there earlier Singing in the Rain triumph if they give Judge Rinder the AT I think it will be tough following on from Rumba as these slow dances are very exposing and I think distracting faces might be be problematic again.

Assuming they're both still there, if Claudia gets a rumba next week and Louise gets ballroom then I really will be muttering the "f" word under my breath.

Hasn't happened yet though...

It will depend on who they want out next week I reckon. Last year's musical week saw Helen and Georgia in the dance off so could equally be a shock this year!

Giving Danny American Smooth in the semis could really benefit him and make him stand out.

They haven't done and AT in the semis for at least two series so I think Ore will have it this week.
