I'm okay with the 5AM acts in the earlier on weeks, but when the talent starts dropping and we're now at the top 5 of the competition and they're still using these gimmicks and people still lap it up is when it starts to annoy me.
Well I like them. They entertain me more than anyone else in the show except Saara, who can actually sing and dance. Matt and Emily bore me to tears and would be very boring to go and see perform. As for Honey G, well there are no words.
This week I really noticed the backing track/singers. I liked them at the beginning, but they are annoying me now. Average singers, average everything. And they all come across quite creepy and cringy with their dance moves.
They may have been nervous ( exposed without the ton of production they get in the normal show) but their vocal limitations were truly out there for all to see in the sing off on Sunday.....they wouldn't have got through the first audition on that form.Terrible
I can only assume the producers want them in the final because it's at Wembley and they need to put on a bit of a show with them bouncing around on stage to up tempo songs like three Duracell bunnies.
I thought last night's performance was worse than Ryan's - and that's saying something.
It's so unfair!! The whole spirit of it. These boys are clearly handpicked and forced on us for us to fall in love with them.
"Can't sing but can dance? That's fine, we'll give you an army of backing singers and an audio backing track loud enough to drown you out for every performance. Just try and mime in time boys and that will do, the public are stupid."
