Adam is just Adam, very funny. I love it that this year there's outright competitiveness between Wayne, Adam, Joel and Sam and Ola. Well said. Adam is naturally funny and good natured. Martin takes the piss out of him just as much and they both enjoy it. Larry's comment, "don't worry Martin you'll get a drink soon" was a classic. Centre stage, bawling over people who were trying to discuss doing the task and waving his straws about for god knows how long. It's pure pantomime.
Do people think Martin's really taking it all seriously? He's playing the game as much as anyone else. Give him credit where it's due for heavens sake.
It's more a case of how OTT seriously do people need to take this show? They're all obviously getting far more fun out of it than some of their viewers and making lots of of lovely money into the bargain.

I'm not sure why anyone would expect him or Martin to be overjoyed at the thought of an eating trial. Unless I've been watching a different show for the last 14 years. Or most likely, unless this is just another attempt to unjustly pick on Adam.
The only game playing he's done was putting on a squeamish act to be picked for trials which he's now going to pay for big style with another version of the worst and which he's already done in the drinking challenge. But guess what, he still gets the trial time attention. Few contestants are dim about doing the same if they wish. .

Quite agree. You wouldn't know he had a child at home. He needs to grow up. Still I think he will win because he relates to the youngsters on twitter.

Fair enough if you find him immature, I just see him as a young guy in an amazing position (the jungle) and probably is loving every minute of it, I think he is just trying to have as much fun as possible in there.

One of the funniest moments this year for me was Martin talking Adam about tree hugging 'is it alright if I hug your tree or do you want me to find another tree?'. I think they are fun together.

Is he at home with his child? No. He might be a completely different person when he is at home, but right now he is doing something very few people will get to do and is just trying to have as much fun as he can and why shouldn't he? Some people need to lighten up.

Can't believe that Adam is 28 years old. I would have said late teens early twenties because of the way he acts. I suppose going into a soap at an early age and having a good income stops him from having to worry about things.

What's the opposite of 'lighten up'? If anyone knows - that's what Adam needs to do. His cackling and guffawing every time someone speaks is hurting my head.

I would have said he acts more lile a 10 year old . I know people in their early twenties who are staff nurses on busy wards and are very mature

I don't need to lighten up, thanks. As another poster said he is 28 not a teenager. I cant believe he is only two years younger than Joel who is much more mature.

I watch Emmerdale (and I can remember Adam in Waterloo Road) so I was looking forward to seeing him but I am disappointed in how he is on this. I'm sure I'm not alone either.

I totally agree with this and from what I have been watching, Adam appears to be the only one who 'gets' Martin and is nice to him.

He's also the only one who's totally upfront and being himself with him. He certainly wouldn't say anything behind his back which he wouldn't dare to say to his face. Unlike the majority of them.
