bad enough we have to suffer through Cathy, now we have Brian and Nessa back. On the bright side the wedding is off, hopefully it remains that way and Cathy decides to leave with her sister.

I din't mind Cathy and Alex and I think they do work with Roy when Cathy is not being shouty and agressive

When they started planning the wedding - what part of horses, a big production and lots of guests did she think Roy was going to enjoy?? She clearly does not know him at all

Cathy is completely self-absorbed - it probably hasn't crossed her mind that her wedding ideas won't be to Roy's taste.
I hope Roy doesn't take her back when she calls off the engagement then changes her mind and expects him to fall into line and shackle himself to her.
I absolutely detest Cathy.
Although admittedly I would have rather Roy had either stayed single or ended up with Mary, I however actually don't get the Cathy hate.

Whoever decided that Roy would marry again does not understand his character at all

Yeah, I mean she can't be any worse than Saint Hayley who had cheated on Roy and even planned to leave him.
