I think i know why he is so annoying. He is just like David Brent with the stuff he does and the things he says that other people would not come out with

Somehow thinking this thread may be having the opposite effect if many like a David Brent

I would not want to see Martin win. But he is entertaining, and hope he makes the final four.

I think all of us (especially if you've worked in an office environment) know a David Brent - and without them - there'd be nothing to talk about!

Anyway - if anyone remembers the climax episode of The Office - they'll know that Brent turned out to have a heart of gold - telling Finchy where to get off!

Yeah he definitely has some Brent and Partridge in his make up, but he's a decent fellow and often hilarious. He's made this series for me personally.
