Indeed. And I also feel that some people, (not all), who are saying that they think she's boring and bland, may only be saying this for the same reason.

Yes, not all.

I am in the "not all" category I couldn't care less who wins but I still find her dancing boring and bland so I have never voted for her.

Louise isn't liked because she is boring and has no personality. There's also no chemistry between her and Kevin.

Like someone on the Not Appreciation thread said, Louise looks like she's dragging an excitable 6 year old around BHS on a Sunday afternoon, not dancing. Their Argentine Tango had no sex or passion in it at all.

Compare that to even Judge Rinder. Judge and Oksana have chemistry between them and even though Judge doesn't bat for the same team as her, there was definitely sexual passion between them in their Paso. Danny and Oti just sizzle off the screen - I've never seen a partnership who have as much chemistry in their dances.

Louise has grown on me, I like her quiet humour and determination to get the job done. I also really liked their waltz.

I don't have a favourite so all this negativity to her and the Cliftons just makes me want to bung a few votes her way tbf.

I just find Louise very boring. yes she is good but none of her dances have the wow factor. I also think she is overmarked. Claudia is better than Louise.

I think it would be because of Kevin& people saying the judges are fixing it for Kevin to win

I agree with this - to me, she is very dull and beige and has ZERO chemistry with Kevin, even Danny + Oti, and Greg + Natalie have far better chemistry than Louise + Kevin do or ever will have

Nothing to do with Kevin.
She's just a bit of a wet hen.

Same here ... nothing to do with Kevin

Louise lacks personality, which transfers to mundane dancing-by-numbers routines

She seems to think that all she has to do to show enthusiasm is smile inanely all the time

As you say, a wet hen

How many shows has Kevin won on tour, over the past three years??. Does anyone know??

I wonder if some are disappointed with Louise because of how she was and seemed to deport herself in her younger years. The Louise from the glam shots and Eternal does not have the same image as the Louise on Strictly. Of course times change, she's older and worries what her children will think. Unfortunately I think Kevin may contribute a bit to her tweeness, vanilla-beige, wet hen image.

One thing I respect about Louise and that may contribute to her reserve and follows from her goodbye words about Daisy, is that she knows what the 'industry' is like and wishes to protect herself and her family given the industry and its disingenuous ways. A good many of us on this forum are cynical about producer manipulation of the show. For someone inside it, who may have been burnt by it in the past, she wants to ensure this does not happen again.

I wish people would stop speaking in absolutes . Louise is unpopular with some, so is Danny, so is Ore, so is Claudia .

A lot of people like Louise and must be voting for her as she hasn't been in a DO, unlike Ore or Claudia .

Agreed.

She reminds me of Rachel Stevens.

So far she had a good position on judges' leaderboard. We'll see how that's holding up now, when public votes may redistribute differently.

In a nutshell, Louise is DULL. Even someone like Artem couldn't manage to ignite a spark in her, let alone manic Kevin. I really don't think she likes him

BIB She was even half hearted about joining in with his trademark kick at the start of last Saturdays show. So I suspect she is someone who would not let the side down by open rebellion, yet there is a distinct lack of passion for dancing.

Would that be why she said on the VT on Sunday's results show that dancing the waltz was the happiest she's ever been? I would have thought that shows a load of passion myself.

Kevin's the only reason why Louise is not getting my vote.

She was allowed to look at the floor. Perhaps that's why she was happy. She can claim all sorts of feelings about dancing, but until she shows this when she dances, she will not be believed.

Well, I can show more passionate enjoyment when I've finished the washing up!

Are you serious?

So you're basically saying that she's a liar?

You're saying that she's making up what she said as well?

Passion....no. She spoke as if she was asking someone to pass the salt. And isn't it a little worrying that dancing a few steps for less than two minutes makes her happier than her wedding day/the birth of her children/Christmas/birthdays, etc?

FFS!

She very clearly meant it's the happiest she's been whilst dancing in Strictly.

Do you lot just go out of your way to be as literal and obtuse as possible for the sake of sheer contrariness?

No don't bother to answer. There's really no need.

I think the point is there is a difference between saying something makes you feel happy, and looking like something is making you happy

Take Danny this week for instance, there was a moment during his Samba when his head went back and there was a look of pure joy on his face

He didn't need to tell us that dance made him feel happy ... we could see it did
