Absolutely!
Hitler has been mentioned as well! Proportion what proportion ? And I too absolutely fail to see despite reporting it why this thread is allowed to go on. Anyone else who wants to report it feel free !

Is there a difference between disliking an individual for -- examples plucked at random -- having pink hair, being bolshy or crap at latin -- and picking on a family group?
I'm not asking you because you're 'guilty' of it, edy! Just that your post is the last one there and it made me think. Disliking an identifiable family triggers more unease in me because it's on the way towards a thing that has more to do with hatred of a group. Like disliking the Roma, for example. Again, I'm NOT accusing you or anyone of that. It's just that individual/group thing has occurred to me and doesn't make me feel comfortable. We need the DS version of West Side Story to break up the clannishness ![]() |

I am really disappointed with some of your comments. IMO, Kevin gets away with so much more than others. Out of all the people, I would have thought you would understand, why it's important to treat all the celebs and pros equally. IMO, that's not the case. Everybody is working their ass off, some of them have to juggle work commitments with long hours of training, really sad.

To the extent that I don't know what my next sentence should be about. A lot of the celebs have jobs and some are free for more of the time. Of those left in the competition, Danny and Louise seem to have a lot of time for training, which is lucky for Kevin and Oti. Danny has been putting in eleven-hour days (?). The other three are still working in bits and bobs (or involved in gymnastic training) and that may be unfortunate for them in terms of training hours, or it may be good for their sense of perspective about the show! It could go either way. It's like this every year. It's not possible to achieve complete equality over all the different circumstances. |

Susannah was working the breakfast show in Manchester - 90% of their practice was up there - Frankie was on tour and Kevin went to several of them so he could fit in practice around it - during their samba week they had very little practice because they had to go abroad (cyprus I think) and then she had less time to practice than she thought they would . Kellie was working on heavy schedule and much of their practice was late in the night. So all pros have done their share including Kevin. None of them seem to have heavy schedule this year - except Lesley and Rinder has done some filming and Claudia has just started training again - Ore has had a lighter work load but has done some - Louise and Dan have had no comittments |

I've never noticed this. Can you be specific?
Likewise Claudia was pulled up for spotting the floor. Nothing said to Louise about doing the same more blatantly. Even Kevin commented on Louise doing this. When the judges ignore it, it looks like favouritism. |

work commitments is nothing new - it is up to the celeb if they feel they can cope with it this is the first year Kevin has had a celeb with no commitments.

I think you have got the wrong end of the stick. I said some of them work very hard and deserve to be treated equally, that was not a comment about Louise not having no work commitments. How did you miss the part about deserve to be treated equally??.
This year Danny (and to a lesser extent Louise) have all been very fortunate in those things. Claudia's had terrible music. Judge and Ore have been helped by good choices some of the time and hindered badly on others. A lot of contestants' exits seem to have been orchestrated. It's the system. Damn system wants to make TV while we want to see a fair contest. ETA to your ETA -- I feel there's been a blessed route through the rounds for both Danny and Louise, which I find exasperating because, of all the dancers, they are the ones least in need of assistance. |

Aljaz & Daisy were pulled up for having a lift in a dance quite early in the season. Kevin seems to get away with odd lifts rather a lot and no comment is made.

Had a bit of a think about this and came up with a couple who actually DO resemble Barbie and Ken.

Fair comments and I can see why it could cause resentment. Kudos to him that he happily stated it.

Unbelievable STILL
I get back late from work to find people gleefully posting contemptuous videos and remarks about other posters. Do we need a big sign Discuss the post not the poster. Youd think when Godwin's law is activated it might be a sign that things have gone too far, but 😕 Obviously not. Mods please close this thread down it is serving zero purpose. |

I feel as if kevin has come down this year and I find him more likable because of it, despite his bad hair transplant
He is a good teacher and his dancing is good when he doesn't go over the top.I deeply dislike karen as a dancer, her legs give me bad dancing vibes all over.
