I know, and the new MP was found wanting, very, very badly.

The real winners were Labour who got absolutely trounced, but that has gone unnoticed.
The Economist certainly noticed.

Once the fuss of the 9th LibDem dies down, the poor showing by Labour will probably get more discussion.

You should try the bingo game, just sjw's to go.
I got full house with racist, xenophobia and bigot yesterday.
That sounds almost as fun as QT's Brexit Bingo.

Wow, bedwetters and snowflakes in one afternoon!

You're really not helping those that think Brexit supporters are a bit thick. Can you try not insulting other posters and actually debating issues? Go on, try really hard, you might be able to do it.
To be honest, most of the Remain supporters on here are very condescending and quick to insult and bait other users when it comes to this topic. Not all, but most it seems.

It is pointless and shows a lack of imagination. This is a politics forum, not a school playground. I notice it far more by Brexit supporters, but it achieves nothing whoever is doing it.

An interesting article.
Yep, I thought Labour losing their deposit was almost as big a story as the size of the swing from Tory back to Lib Dem.

And from what I see is in retaliation but like you said it achieves nothing.

It is the type of questioning many politician have been exposed to over the years. Farage, Griffin, Brons and many more. The questions were germane to the MPs campaign and to her victory speech afterwards. If one wields the sword one must expect a counter thrust. It left her speechless and not surprising. No point in condemning the interviewer who after all was only doing her job but with a viewpoint, a not uncommon thing for any interviewer.
I thought though that the populist right is all about smashing the elites and the establishment. It seems Ms Olney is being ridiculed for not being a career politician or knowing how to play the media game.

It's not worth trying to understand Brexiteer Logic.

Earlier in this thread, Brexit supporters were complaining that the new MPs speach included the phrase "backwards looking", then we get Brexit supporters refering to people that disagree with them as bedwetters and snowflakes.

Need some ballance.

This is where bias comes in.I see it way more from remain supporters, far more childish overuse of the racist card, breiters are thick etc. Agree that it achieves nothing but then being sensible doesn't either, after all this is just a tiny part of the internet, the equivalent of cb radio and some do take it far too seriously.

Theres a shadow minister on Sky now trying to spin their loss. Hes attacking Theresa May but I suppose that's all they can do.

And then you get this sort of nonsense.
This is why it ends up in a slanging match.

Like Trump complaining about Hillary's links to Goldman Sacs, then appointing an ex-Goldman Sacs senior manager to his team. They assume no one has any memory and will spot the hypocrisy.

He seemed totally removed from reality, and unconcerned that the Labour candidate lost his deposit - almost blasé about it. His attitude explained why Labour did so badly

And more if you look at the country as a whole. The article is very interesting and well worth reading.

Yes Labour got less than 5% of the vote, so they lost their deposit.

And you think childish name calling helps? Why not point out their low standards rather than join them?

Just heard on the news that Labour got fewer votes yesterday than there are members in the local Constituency Labour Party.
I did try to tell you that earlier - but the panto posts probably swamped it

Sorry, I missed that earlier post. Been a busy day at work.

This also may have been mentioned already but while catching up with today's news I see yet another moron has revealed themselves on Twitter by encouraging someone to "Jox Cox" Anna Soubry: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-38180748

Zac was popular, before that disastrous Mayoral campaign and the Brexit result.
