Just read their responses to brexit-
"I feel a sense of bereavement"
"Im horrified at the result"
They've basically been mollycoddled all their life surrounded by people who shape their views, brexit happens and they run round like headless chickens.”

And only yesterday you wrote Remain voters were sneering.

Seems we need another referendum to gage public opinion:

Hard Brexit

Soft Brexit

No Brexit

So how about answering the question?

That wasn't the question, though. Is Brexit about "taking back control" of how Britain is run, and if so why does it matter how Europe is run?

Do we

There really is no need IMO for sneering condescension - what is wrong with asking a question and listening to the answer. We learn far more that way. The TV and world at large gains nothing by giving a voice to loud mouthed bullies.

It wasn't really an interview though. She's there as a right wing pro-hard Brexit campaigner and is not even pretending to be impartial......every 'question' was a hostile one.

Listen, the vote share dictates that a sensible compromise is required. It won't appease hard-liners but frankly, it's to bad. There is no mandate for Hard Brexit. We need to stay in the single-market with full access and all the benefits.”

?? Where o earth do you get that from. A dictatorship is one person, or a small group, deciding what is to be done and doing it. We have been discussing the eU since its inception, we have had the vote on it we have been asking for for over 20 years, we aired, discussed and weighed up the arguments then every voter in the country was able to cast a vote on what to do with the popular understanding that that would be the decision. Should we play football or golf, the vote was decided golf, you cannot put up nets at each green and say well since 48% wanted to play football we will have a kickabout here on our way through. That was not what the vote was about.

Rarely happens, Any Questions with the UKIP chap on showed just how little audiences, and other panellists are prepared to listen without a sneering interjection.

I want to live in a world without whining wet blankets trying to overturn democracy.
You try and reverse the referendum, you deserve the grilling.
If you think the likes of Jones,Fallon,Izzard,Geldof etc are some sort of beacon of wonderfulness you need your head examined.
Vile humans, but I have to laugh at Izzard losing a load of money promoting remain.
Maybe Mr charity man should have spent it on something more deserving.

No, you were sneering, and it isn't anything to be proud of so I can see why you'd deny it.

She asked very difficult questions that the new MP could not counter. Ask them hard and ask them fast. That has been the technique for many who are supposed to be impartial. JHB is not supposed to be impartial. Everyone seems to love it when Farage gets a roasting from an 'impartial' interviewer. Any chance of at least some consistency.

Labour now say they will "seek to amend Article 50"

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38196303

Amending any EU treaty is always a simple process isn't it?

Because it's stupid question. Just like when Farage used to constantly repeat that 500 million people could move to the UK.

In theory the whole population of the UK could move to Tunbridge Wells tomorrow, even after Brexit, but it's not going to happen so there's little point speculating about the effect of it happening.

That's why it was a big mistake for an inexperienced politician like Olney to go on the show. It was more like a joust between a Remainer and a Leave supporter but JHB had all the aces up her sleeve in that she was doing the interrogating and firing her pre-prepared questions in a rat-a-tat fashion.

No. The equivalent comparison would then be... ok, but what kind of game of golf?
Match play? Stroke play? Stableford? Foursomes? Scramble? Other? 18 holes? 9 holes?

No the question is very well defined. It was how many people could Britain accommodate without there being serious overcrowding problems?

Inexperienced maybe but that did not stop her wielding the sword as regards Brexit and the LibDems clear intention to derail Brexit. Why she would expect the alternative majority view not to respond in fighting fashion is a mark of her inexperience as that is exactly what should have been expected once into the mire of National politics. JHB had the aces up her sleeve because in effect they were true.

Its not a stupid question as Tunbridge Wells could not cope with the UK population, so answer the question. How many can the UK cope with?

Not really because in all cases one is playing golf not football. For some reason compromise seems to be playing golf OK but still using the football referee. That is the whole point of playing golf you wish to play golf most especially since we were never asked if we wished to play football in the first place and have done for 20 years.
