If it's leave vs remain battle then based on the June results leave would have a majority of 250 plus. Such were the number of areas they voted majority leave - big remain wins being concentrated in London and Scotland.
But politics of course won't work that way. Most Labour activists hate the LDs almost as much as the Tories - there is bad blood there.

i'm not really thinking of it on that narrow basis, politics wont remain, no pun intended, a single issue environment for long
i was more thinking of informal agreements being made to avoid splitting the vote when a party has no chance of winning

I thought it was mostly a list of and thanks to the people who helped and supported her, thanking those that counted the votes and a bit on the end speaking of the issues that that electorate had spoken to her about during the campaign together with a commitment to represent them.

Yes I never heard her say that she would vote against invoking Article 50.
And will she really spend £200 on the NHS like she said she would do on her bus?

They voted to stop Brexit and they won't stop it
They also voted against Heathrow expansion - I wouldn't be surprised now if Mrs May builds the third runway on Richmond park!
Even though it was a stupid decision by him an honourable constituency would have rewarded Goldsmiths faith in them by giving it back in return.

even if he had won what was he going to change ?
it was a purely indulgent gesture as he would be a conservative in all but name if he had won and would have ended up just rejoining anyway
