Gio watching some musical/ film with Italian subtitle.. In his Instagram story . Not sure, it looks like Nicole Sherzinger singing ? Any ideas?

Can't help you there but I just hope this film is not part of Gio's research for music for his show. I thought maybe his last film clip might have been some sort of hint and I was ok with that but this one not so much.

I don't use Instagram so I'm not really sure what you're referring to but Nicole Sherzinger did play Grizabella in Cats if that's any help.

I thought it was a tiny clip from Dreamgirls - the man you see is, I think, Jamie Foxx and the lady next to him is the 'plain' version of Jennifer Hudson before she becomes a star. Not sure who is singing - is it Beyonce.... with very 70s styling?

And new news... Amy D'Angelo and Fabio D'Angelo are guest artists on the Dance is Life tour. Amy Ward, before her marriage, was best friends with Joanne Clifton, who went to their wedding in Siciliy last summer - Fabio is a fellow Siciliano!

They are ballroom specialists so will be a fab, fab tour. Thrilled to hear this.

Generally with this sort of tour they drip feed bits of news so that there is something new to announce every couple of weeks, with a fresh press release, to keep the ticket sales ticking over.

I bet the Fabio and Amy news will get something more official in due course. Fabio and Amy are based in Hull..

Booking Grimsby Auditorium is quite a big deal as it has 1,200 seats - his other venues are around 300-450. If I had to take a wild guess, there will be a guest slot at Grimsby.

Joanne Clifton's tour of Thoroughly Modern Mille finishes on June 24th. Gio's tour (second phase) starts on June 27th. So.... I wonder if Joanne might dance at Grimsby?

Edit: And Gio has retweeted the news about Amy and Fabio... so definitely definite then.

You beat me to it. Thank you for info. I got the impression the 'surprise' was relevant to the whole tour but I may have got that wrong. However a 'Joanne' appearance at Grimsby does make sense but if there is a 'story' to the show how easy would it be to fit in an extra character? Unless of course one character is played by more than one person. Someone else could play the character until Joanne was free. Forgive my ramblings everyone.
