I think it is Luba rather than Korina Travis, his dance partner for some private events last year. Korina was I think under consideration as a new pro dancer on the show, when the producers were recruiting a couple of younger pros to match their young Olympians... but Chloe and AJ were the final decision.
It might just be a publicity shot at this stage, rather than a dancer in the lineup. Now need to choose my venue... Some of the theatres are offering Meet and Greets.

One of the venues Lincoln Drill Hill is opposite to where I work. I'm going to see a Michael Portillo talk next year. Its quite a small venue.
Anyway good luck to his tour, wonder if he will be asked some interesting questions

There's not much down South at all but maybe as LL says there will be further dates announced.
I know that despite everything and unlike some of the celebs the pros don't earn a fortune from the show so they've got to keep all career and job opportunities coming and to do something you love must be great. A lot of them do it - I think I read Natalie is in a show with Ian Waite next year. So good luck to Giovanni with his tour. |

(For better or worse - I hope for the better in Gio's case ) And less depends on staging and live music to fill the venue. The worst part of the smaller venues is that the backstage areas frankly can be fairly grotty for the artists - a far cry from the very comfortable Elstree George Lucas set up. If he is smart he will get questions submitted at the interval on cards - and choose wisely

Hello Chris. Interesting about the Lincoln Drill Hall - never been to that one. I am always worried that Portillo might pop up on Strictly - he is the type that might well be asked. But an interesting chap and a good presenter these days.

) ![]() LOL I'm giving away far too much today..As for questions- well I can guess that to which you're all delicately alluding but surely nobody would be crass enough to ask someone TOO personal questions at a meet and great would they? Be a bit odd and rude IMO

The costs increase substantially at the South East venues - but I am not sure that you can push up the ticket prices correspondingly. If you want to learn, you have to keep stretching yourself and taking a few risks. Glad he is pushing ahead with what he loves. |

There's an official Twitter for the tour and looks like there might be a couple more venues added.

Gio will need a crash course in how to NOT answer the question! |

![]() ) is hilarious at those godawful fan conventions (Comic Con) because he just slam dunk comes out with what he's thinking. Just say it like it is and go for it Giovanni, people like that are always more interesting than 'yes' men and women. Hope someone films it

Nice to have a thread for Gio on his own
Looking forward to his tour; hoping I will get to go. Not sure though as my Christmas list is rather full already with tickets for the SCD tour, Kevin and Karen's tour, and Janette and Aljaž's!! |

Just a fly by to say Ian and Camilla were there in April (and Ian and Natalie back to the Theatre Royal, which is about the same size later in the year & Pasha and Katya a few years back). Both about the same size as Scunthorpe Baths which Brendan regularly uses for his shows so it seems he's using the standard Strictly Pro Tour venue sizes.

Like it or not he is rather controversial (maybe not all his fault) so people will want to ask him about Strictly and his partners. Its probably partly why he is doing this tour, he's an interesting guy.

Looks like Gio is using same production company that does Ian and Camilla's tour.

Thanks Aggs - looks like he is following a tested route. Quote:

I think this *might* confirm that Luba is in the show - or at least is the lady in the photo!

Yes she is. I can't found another article. I will try and find it again and post the link.
http://www.barrheadnews.com/news/ent..._Is_Life_show/ Luba has won many dance competitions and I think was based in Italy for some years. |

It does look like it - Luba's earrings match those on the poster. But... it could just be a publicity shot. Edit: Just seen the press release you linked - so it IS Luba. Fantastic! Although it would be great to see someone of the quality of Luba Mushtuk dancing on the tour - fingers crossed.
Sad to see Ed depart this evening - he spoke well and I think it came from the heart. He looked genuinely touched to be hugged by the group at the end - not the same as a Westminster Village departure. He was clearly greatly liked. Well done Ed And more Katya next year please. ![]() I bet that 20s Sports Day Charleston gets another outing on the Strictly Tour - it just had that feel..... |

Not sure how well this tour will do, he's a name but no one else is. He mentioned a GG tour in the past, that is obviously not an option any more. I would probably have gone to the latter if it had ever happened.
