Here is a Propah Professional Photo (by Chris Mann) of Gorka. Who I normally think is ,.. rather nice looking. But I really don't like this photo.

Anyone else think that is not the best flavour of Gorka?

Edit: Forgot to say.. lovely photo of Laura dancing her waltz - her face is so serene..

Thanks for keeping an eye on the Chili Fiesta outlook - I would definitely consider going to that as your reports on last year were terrific.

I think that when Gio announced the Dance Is Life tour.. his press release mentioned something along the lines of 'no microphones between the dancers and the audience'. Which made me think that he was not going down the 'chat' route - just a Q and A. Which is wise - it is verrrry tricky to pull off the 'showman patter' - and if even Brendan who has been touring for years and years finds it a bit of an effort.......

I was very glad at that particular moment I was not in the front row. . I am happy to report back re the kilt when I go in January.

I will also be on beard watch which is a necessary and much more enjoyable activity if I am close enough to see properly that is. I shall certainly be close enough on Gio's tour. Interested to hear about his decision re microphones. I did wonder if he would have someone announcing the various routines for him.

I agree re Gorka's photo. It is the first time I have seen a bad photo of him. If I were Gorka I would not be happy with that one.

I think Gorka is very good looking but I am not too keen on the latest photo either.

Glad that it isn't just me.. maybe Gorka is usually more smiley than that and he doesn't suit the mean and moody look? He has a slightly asymmetrical face which normally looks a bit quirky but very charming - something about the lighting and the black and white contrast isn't helping.

Maybe the rest of the shoot are total winners though. Chris Mann took some stunning shots of Kevin and Louise rehearsing for the finals (black and white again) so he does some great work.

First bad shot I have seen actually, come to think of it.

I'm very glad they are going on tour, for that reason and Janette's usually pretty good too; last year she did quite a few periscopes during the tour, so hoping we'll see those again

Gio is following of a few of his dentist's accounts on instagram, looks like he's getting his 'Hampsteads' sorted as my Cockney other half would say (I have been hearing this expression a lot lately as he has to have a wisdom tooth out soon ). I think Gio already has a great smile but Invisalign can be very pricey so if he can get it done now he might as well.

Someone on Twitter did post some pole result with Gio voted as the male Pro with the cutest smile.

I would have attached it here but I don't know how. Sorry. I'm sure someone is able to do that. You all seem to do that with ease.

Funnily enough, I was just thinking that Janette and Alijaz have been unusually quiet on social media for a couple of days - maybe they are travelling/chilling a bit before rehearsals.


I laughed when I saw 'Hampsteads' - haven't heard that one in simply ages! Bet that would TOTALLY confuse Gio - or did he learn a bit of rhyming slang for the tour? I think I have a dim memory of 'apples and pears' being wheeled out on the Tour.....

Gio, I think, started with Invisalign courtesy of Dr Rhona back in the summer, together with Georgia. Good spot on the Instagram follows, if he has added her back to his (very short) list of follows, I think you are probably right about dental work. Invisalign is really, really expensive but I guess necessary if you are on TV in these days of high definition. Suspect that Gio will get a bit of a discount if he does a bit of promotion with the clinic.

Gio does have a truly lovely smile. But his teeth are a bit 'European' and I don't think Mama dragged him to the orthodontist when he was teen Gio... All that sort of treatment for kids is effectively private in Italy so a bit of a luxury.

Someone will have to go on 'Tooth watch'. So that is teeth, beards, earrings....... and CraigRH in his Kilt. Rather a worrying list.

Dr Rhona does very nice, natural looking work so he won't end up with blindingly white fake-looking horrors at least.

Very sorry for MrJiving and his wisdom tooth.. hope the extraction is not too awful for him.

I think Dr Rhona has nipped in there and stolen the teeth-watch job from Under Our Very Noses

To her they are just teeth. We need someone who can appreciate the results of her work and alert the rest of us.

If you read her comments and tags underneath that photo... I think that she is not... indifferent.... to the rather charming owner of the teeth

What can I say.. must be a woman of Very Good Taste. Think Gio's smile is in good hands.
