Gosh, I'm glad I didn't know you could only go to a gay bar if you're gay. I'd have missed out on some amazing nights out.

Some might say it depends on the newspaper but I'd hope Strictly would rise above all that and support their dancers regardless.

He's not gay. He has a girlfriend, if Gorka is gay for going to a gay bar then on that basis Alijaz and Neil must be as well because they were with him when it happened. That's despite them both being married and engaged to women respectively...

I can assure you Flamingos, or The Flamingo as I knew it, back in the day is certainly NOT a gay club anymore. It could probably be described as "mixed", just as Funny Girls is predominately straight.

I have no idea why it was even mentioned that the three dancers were going to the Flamingo. Why say it if they actually didn't get there? Why was it simply not reported that they were walking in the town after the show? Doesn't make sense. The Flamingo bit was irrelevant. Gorka wasn't attacked in there.

Who knows, maybe they had a punch-up between them

Gorka is married to a female dancer who appeared as one of he backing dancers in quite a few of the Blackpool numbers.

I don't have a clue about Gorka's private life.

Gorka has a (female) fiance named Lauren who is also a dancer. He's not gay. Wouldn't matter if he was - but it seems like some people are looking for some "juicy" aspect to this story as if a persons sexual orientation is a piece of gossip. If he were it would just reflect badly on the people who attacked him, not on the victim of the attack.

Glad to see him back dancing this week with all his teeth intact!

Exactly what I said - where they were going was not relevant. Why was the Flamingo even mentioned if they did not get to the club? But it does seem strange that this has not been reported to the police.

Since when did you HAVE to be gay to go to gay bar or nightclub?? I'm straight as a poker but some of my best nights out have been at gay clubs!

Anyway, maybe he didn't report it because he didn't want to...we don't know the full circumstances so...

He's not gay, maybe bi but that's his business. Hope he's back again next year and those thugs didn't put him off Blackpool... although I've heard it is very rough there.

I doubt many people would be shocked at a dancer going to a gay club.
