It's of no consequence to me one way or the other, nor to most people, I'm sure, which was my point.

Gorka is always posting loads of pics of him and his wife Lauren all over Insta and Twitter.

Exactly, in this day and age one would hope that the fact that he may or may not be gay is irrelevant to the assault itself. Maybe he decided not to press charges.

Maybe he just wants to forget the whole thing. Just a random attack i doubt they'll ever catch the scum anyway.

Exactly what I was going to say. Perhaps Gorka doesn't want attention from all this and just wants to move on and let his dancing do the talking

Yes, I get the impression Gorka isn't the sort of person who courts publicity, he isn't James Jordan!!

Poor lad. He seems totally adorable.

Hope he is back to his normal self again. And I hope he returns again next year. Awesome dancer and just seems like a really nice man.

He's not gay, maybe bi but that's his business. Hope he's back again next year and those thugs didn't put him off Blackpool... although I've heard it is very rough there.”

Blackpool can be rough at night, but to be honest, what town or city isn't? In all the years we competed there we found the people generally were really friendly and helpful, but we were always warned to be careful at night - but we got the same warning when we danced in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bournemouth, etc.

They haven't reported the incident to the police, understandably. They wouldn't want the publicity that they were heading to a gay club”

Clearly you haven't spent much time hanging out with show biz, TV, film and theatre people.

It's the going to , that gets me.

Not that Gorka is gay and probably was only going to the club to have a good time.

But the "going to" assumes that not only are the attackers homophobic but they are psychic homophobes too.

That's sounds like an 80s group. 😱

Its important to report any assault to the police . People have died from a single punch .
If thugs believe their attacks are not going to be reported and they can get away with it they will continue attacking innocent individuals . This guy may well be on police records and that's why giving his description is important .
