and adam had a choice between a spider and another bug

and he chose to put the spider in his mouth and was pretty calm.

i'm starting to think the whole spider thing was an act, so he could fake the ''journey'' of overcoming his ''fear'' of spiders

Or perhaps he chose the spider because by coming on the show he was actively trying to conquer his phobia.

But I guess, a conspiracy theory is always more interesting.

Not much of a conspiracy, thinking he might've been putting it on. Just over a week ago he was petrified of them, now he choses to eat one when there's an alternative choice? Maybe his stint in Emmerdale was just an apprenticeship for the real acting job in the jungle. I liked him at first, now I see someone whi's insincere.

Its not a conspiracy - its just suddenly people are realising that Adam was obviously lying about a fear of spiders. My cousin had arachnaphobia and he couldn't even look through glass at one without his blood-pressure dropping.

Adam's done his homework. A lot of people will have seen him overcome his (nonexistent) fears and it will have given him a few extra votes. He's to be admired - the best game-player in there.
