That white lacy dress thing was absolutely hideous.

Well I guess there's no danger of anyone else being seen in the same dress.
Ever. |

At first I thought net curtains but it actually had a closer resemblance to a tablecloth.

It's almost like they don't tell each other what they'll be wearing in advance, or Tess played a cruel trick on her. When Claudia makes Tess look tasteful it's a bit like making Genghis Khan look restrained.

An 80s ra ra, it was horrible, she got it right last night but oh my god Claudia dont do this to yourself, it was awful... Tess s outfit too looked as if it was for a midget like me at 5ft 1 and that shiny hard looking belt I hate, she wears it a lot..

It was a tiny bit short - she really would have to remember to keep her knees together all the time !

I said to my partner that she looks like one of the dolls that cover loo rolls!

I thought it was loo roll cover chic too.
But then Tess's frock kept poking her in the chin and looked like something from a low budget sci-fi movie. Not their best efforts. |

In fairness to Claudia this is a result of her self sacrifice on Tess's behalf.
When they are getting ready for the show Claudia has a spy hole through the wall to Tess's dressing room, so she can see what Tess will be wearing. If Tess's outfit looks like a disaaassterrrr then Claudia will change into something that helps to make Tess's outfit look less bad by comparison. Hence the crochet tablecloth - she's selfless that Claudia. ![]() Q.E.D. |

It was actually one of those knitted loo roll covers that was trendy back in the 1970's.

Tess looked like an audition for the remake of Blake's 7 and positively stylish compared to Claudia's doily ensemble.
Darcey's outfit was quite special as well. Looked as though it had seaweed stiched down the sides. Please tell me that none of these were their own choices. |

I thought she was channelling the lambchop puppet from the 1960s!

I'd forgotten Darcy's ensemble. Maybe they had some sort of bet going?

The crochet dress is very fashionable at the moment, usually someone in a similar style everyday in the Daily Mail😜😜😜😜
Darcy 's jump suit was dreadful tonight , weird ruffles down the side of each leg. IMO Darcy's really had the short straw on outfits this year. |

I think make-up and wardrobe got the latter part of Saturday night (or what the BBC like to call Sunday evening) off. Claudia's outfit was totally not her, Bruno and Darcey looked uncharacteristically messy.
