Did anyone spot this?

I've just read it on Facebook. I didn't notice it.

Or.

This is the facebook post

I am incensed with Bruno Tonioli. Did anyone else notice him looking at his phone through the majority of Ed and Katya dancing? How can you judge them when you don't even give them the common courtesy of actually watching them? I understand that Robert Rinder was the better dancer and I fully accept that the correct dancer left however, this behaviour is disgusting

Obviously he wasn't and I shouldn't even have to check, but I checked and no, he wasn't. He looked down once to write something down.

Maybe Bruno is DS's "mole" in the Spoiler thread and that's what he was doing on his phone!

I saw him writing. Maybe that's what they saw. I doubt they're allowed their phones on them during filming let alone get them out.

He definately had his head down, doing something - writing ? - I dont often notice such things, but it seemed so odd for him not to be watching.

he was looking at his inspiration Animal from the Muppets on youtube again...

I've just watched it back. He wasn't on his phone, and he was watching and jotting down notes. The thing that's lit up on the desk is the score pad I think, not a phone.

I didn't spot this but if its true then totally unprofessional

I'd really be surprised if they were allowed to have their phones at the desk.

TV Monitor?

Same thing happens in a medal exam. The examiner is often head down, writing notes, whilst the examinee is dancing. However in this case I wouldn't have thought he'd have needed extensive notes. He just had to say a name.

I read that as "medical exam"

Lol yeah I've been there. The phrase "dance like no ones watching" springs to mind sometimes in my exams. Then you get the feedback back and it's all of four words long like "good use of feet - expressive arms." Oh well!

Fortunately sometimes they've been looking down at the right time. There's the 'did they see that error?' moment.

It was a no-brainer, Bruno could have been reading tweets or cutting his toe-nails, Ed was going tonight. Maybe the only chance the judges would have to get rid of him.

So should we sack you for not paying attention to the things you write, then?

I've watched it again and he wasn't looking at his phone. He had a pen in his hand and wrote something down. I think he does watch all the dancers as he quite often stands up to have a good look.
