I know it could've been nerves or whatever, but wow! that has got to be the worst sing-off of the entire series, even Honey G has done better sing-offs and that's saying something.
No wonder this show seemed reluctant to ever have 5 After Midnight in the bottom two if that's what they really sound like. |

I think it was nerves. They obviously can sing but the first one started flat and the others followed (like a pack of dominoes
)

They were awful, singers they are not. I enjoyed Honey G more in that sing-off.

I don't rate 5AM at all, they will never be on the same level as JLS.
5AM are more Rough Copy, and I used to question their performances in 2013 as to whether they also relied heavily on additional vocals to beef up their own vocals. Let's face it, none of the lads in 5AM have an exceptional voice. There is nothing to them at all. |

Comes to something when G was better in the sing off.
Farting into the Mic would have sounded better to what offering they gave. flat, Out of tune and without them leaping around the stage they looked totally awkward |

Wasn't one of them a young Michael Jackson in Thriller. He must be able to sing if he had that role. Can't see much evidence of a good voice - especially tonight - they were awful.

Reminded me of that year Josh won the UK Entry. That disaster of show they looked totally unprepared |

Was pretty bad, but not as bad as Ryan last week, IMO. That was just painful.

They were SH*T on Sunday night, but even then they had the autotune/ harmonise effect or backing track turned-up to max on the chorus to help them out. When it was just the boys voices it was terrible.
If they had to do an acoustic version of something it would be horrendous. Indeed, it has only been production values and sound engineers keeping them in over the weeks IMO. They are not particularly good singers. |

They were truly awful this week they need to really pull it out the bag next week and do something amazing coz they weren't good enough and they sucked in the sing off they just wanna be thankful it was Honey G they was up against, though she was probably better than them in the sing off its not saying much but if it had been anyone else their asses would've been gone out the competition - do better 5AM!

They were really good at their audition and Judges Houses, though. They clearly can sing (at least the middle one can), I wonder why they're so weak at the live shows.

They could be good with the right vocal training but right now they are not living up to the potential it's all a bit raw but they are young and it can be tweeked - they are just not tapping into it enough - they need to put Kieran out more though

They were never very good. I don't think you can argue it was nerves as they must have been nervous on other performances.

They edit the sound before the lives to make the singers sound alot better than they realistically are going to be at the lives so to get people excited about the "incredible" talent that we've got this year, when really acts like 5AM just aren't very good.

I was surprised how bad they were. I think they are highly overrated. Maybe they go next week.

Middle one last night with short hair is the only one who can sound decent, spider hair and the other one are quite poor.

I highly doubt it, especially if you're talking about the original film. I can't see any of 5 After Midnight being anywhere near 40 years old. They'd all have been born around the mid '90s. I've found a link that shows their ages. They're 20-23.

Like 1D before them, without a backing track they are nothing.

It was a dreadful sing off... judged purely on that, I genuinely think Honey G would have stayed.
Last couple of weeks sing offs have been DIRE. All 3 acts should have been send packing based on that. |

They are talking about the long-running Thriller Live stage show. The main one from 5AM was in it as a kid.
