5AM Singoff

After all the criticism they've gotten on here for their dodgy vocals, I thought their sing off performance was very solid and strong. They put Honey G to shame.

It was absolutely atrocious

I thought that it was awful and it exposed them for just how weak vocally that they really are and they need to fix it for next week.

To be honest Olly Murs did a similar thing in series 6, again like 5AM he was lucky on the fact that he was facing the joke act.

I thought they were dire, especially at the start. The guy in the middle is the only one who can sing and is single-handedly keeping them afloat.

I agree. They started off shaky but it got better as they got into the song.

Obviously this is a wind up as 5am were out of tune and rubbish.

Honey G was the superior act.

Surprised they were allowed backing vocals even for their singoff. This show gets further from a singing competition every week!

It was, I'm afraid.
The boy in the middle - who hugs Matt AND saara a lot - sang well but as a group effort it was nervous and dire. There's not really any potential there,

I'm genuinely sorry to say this to any 5 am fans, I don't want to be rude but it's my opinion.

AND

HOW many years have we heard Walsh drone on about the next big boy band in the U.K. ?

Union j?
Rough copy?
Stereo kicks?
Eton road ?!

Absolutely ridiculous they were bottom 2.they were the best act last night.I dont know what tone deaf cretins watch this show.this is why the xf has died on its arse.

It was terrible!

This year has really been the year of the embarrassingly bad sing-off. Most of them cannot cope with keeping the sing-off song on the boil at the same time as their main live song.

All except Saara - but then again she's an old pro.

That's only because there were backing vocals during the chorus. I wonder if the show are fooling people at all......the public probably know they're not very good singers.

They were absolutely woeful and no mistake. I can't understand why they're being pimped so much. Arguably the worst group to reach the semi finals. Union J and Stereo Kicks were streets ahead of them

I think there have been some harsh bottom two entries this series.

Freddy vs Saara in week 2
Sam vs Ryan in week 6

And individual bottom two entries like Relley and Gifty, but I honestly don't think that it was harsh that 5AM was in there as there's no musicality to them other than they dance, they need to prove that they can do more than dance.

And Honey G was the main joke act of the series so I can understand why the public flip on them as despite amusing some people, they still can't sing and Honey G proved that as she never did anything remotely serious to showcase any real talent.

Honey G is undoubtedly the worst act in the entire history of the show. But she won that sing-off hands down.

It was horrible when they were singing alone.

When they were singing together it was good! But that was playback with autotune.

Show went so low that they autotuned their weak vocals to create false impression that they can sing better than what was the reality.

Businesswise smart though.

How can people be so stupid that they dont notice though?

They were bloody awful, and it shows that they have relied heavily on loud backing tracks and backing vocals, during the live shows. Then when it came to that sing off, at parts they were still trying to mime, when they should have been attempting to sing. It was a whole embarrassing miss mash.

it was embarrassing listening to 5pints after midnight but all through the series they have been out of tune so it was no surprise they were in the bottom 2, mind you one of them trying to sing with a giant tarantula on his head must be a bit nerveracking

If they were that good they wouldn't need the help in the live shows

This really shows how different people's tastes are. The two on the sides were utterly tone dead. Was painful to watch.

I think they were poor and should've gone, can see them going next week
