Mrs Doyle: Are you looking forward to your lunch tomorrow, Father?
Ted: Hmmm? I suppose so. Mrs Doyle: You do like pheasant, don't you Father? Ted: Pheasant? I love pheasant. Mrs Doyle: Well there's a little clue. The thing you'll be eating likes pheasant as well. |

A week ago, I lent my complete collection of Father Ted DVDs
to a pal, who had never, for some reason, seen it. I Saw him today and he is steaming through the episodes and loving every minute of it! |

Pat Mustard had the best theme music and some of the best lines in the whole series :
As he emerges from one lucky lady's house.... "And now to ride Mrs O'Reilly". |

The guy's grin after that line really makes it. |

Father Ted: Dougal, you know you can praise God in other ways.
Father Dougal: Oh yeah, like that time you told me I could praise him just by leaving the room. Father Ted: Yes, that was a good one all right. |

I don't know if it was a repeat or not but did anyone catch the "Small, far away" documentary on More 4 the other night?
Jim Norton (Bishop Brennan) remarked in it that he'd NEVER watched "Kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse" in its entirety as he found it too painful to think of that as his last time working alongside Dermot. |
