Honey G and the 'outrage' from everyone

As a non viewer of X Factor, what is your opinion of Honey G aka Anna Gilford. Funny thing to ask I guess as you will all tell me she's crap. I have seen clips people post on social media of her and whilst shes no good doesn't it sort of say something about the show? every week news feeds get clogged up with the sound of shrill cries "Fixxxxx Honey G should go! fix factor" yet continue to watch this crap program week in week out. Someone must be voting for her? lol or is it the fact the whole thing is a joke and the no talents win, the good ones go off and do their own thing and become much better than the winner which again begs the question... what is the point of the show? if the worst acts get so far in it to be memorable or even win it!.

Why do some still watch it if its a 'fix'? so as a non X Factor explain to me how this show is better than someone better starting their own career without the aid of a TV show.

I loved Honey G and voted for her every week. I don't think it's a fix. I enjoy the show. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad but they consistently have nice people on who can hold a tune and it's some light entertainment.

Some of us stopped watching it weeks ago hence the lowest viewing figures on x factor since it started, think it's been just over 5m compared to 10m on Strictly.

I just been watching the results show but now the joke act is out will start watching again as will others I guess

So do you feel its more of an entertainment show than a serious singing contest? interesting view point because thats how it looks like to me.

It's always been a bit of both. Even in the early years, Steve Brookstein won, Chico was on the show at some point and they had Same Difference as well. It's always been a mix. It's an entertainment show with some serious singers on it. I just don't take it seriously coz it's only TV. I never take TV seriously.

Good view point to have, I guess some take it more seriously than others. I dont take it seriously, my way of looking for good singers is elsewhere from the charts or X Factor. I think the Honey G thing has been a good talking point. I honestly think she was a troll act and not serious.
