SOC is to Eastenders what Stuart Blackburn was to Corrie. I think that is the fairest way of looking at it. Blackburn was a boring producer that relied to much on silly storylines, lots of filler type episodes and the show just became a borefest.
I think EE need someone fresh and more in touch with the 21st century. Kate Oates has proven that at ED and now is working her magic at CS, being in her mid 30's I think she's at the right age to know what the audience want from a soap. SOC is nearly 50 and like Blackburn I think has been around too long and from an era where soaps were much different. I think they are simply out of touch with the audience and don't seem to understand that the genre has changed over the past decade.

Iv found the posters I enjoy posting with haven't been posting much.
Also due to the poster with multiple personality syndrome still being on the forum and STILL posting with multiple profiles it puts me off posting, starting threads or contributing to ones that are basically one person talking to themselves with multiple profiles.
Oh and yeah the multiple moaning threads about the show and sock are annoying
But I have been in the episode threads when I remember and I am really enjoying the show at the moment

I am starting to think Sean O'Connor's appointment as EE Boss has been a big mistake. The show is not in a good place at the moment.
