TEN for Claudia & AJ
What on earth is going on with the judges eyes, the best routine this week is most definatly the Argentine tango, performed the best ive ever seen it perfomed Claudia & AJ. for them to be given that score is the pitts. ARE THEY ALL BLIND or is it that this competition fixed and they want that danny to win ... dont get me wrong he is good but no better that Ore, AND JOANNE IS FAR SUPERIOR DANCER THAN OTI who constantly loses her footing or doesnt complete a move. THE WINNER THIS WEEK JUST HAS TO BE Claudid with louise a close 2nd and Ore A DEFINATE 3RD... but the judges have a bias for Danny and i for one are sick of it. They should take the proffesionals moves into account when judging, I dont know about Len leaving he should swap with Craig. What a misery guts hes played the part for too many years now ITS BORING !!! Get anton on panel ... at least he is dancing NOW! and not years ago like all of the now Judges. Id even like to see his original partner (sorry forgot her name ) on the panel before canyone not connected to the show.
Has anyone ever considered getting the jusges to visit reheasels during the week and taking that into mind as well |

Danny was far and away the best dance of the night - I've never seen samba danced that well on Strictly.
Claudia deserved some tens and I think she should've been second but the standout dance of the night, and the series, was Danny and Oti I feel. Have rewatched that dance a lot today. |

Very glad Claudia. W directly asked the judges about it on Len's Lens. Loved the crowd's reaction too. And I thought Darcy's answer was the usual one they throw out when they actually can't fault a dancer technically. I can't stop watching it back tbh. Having said all that, I think the judges did them a favour this week as the scoring seemed to spur people on to vote for them. If it has that effect every week and keeps them out of the D/O they can under-mark as much as they want as far as I'm concerned

I think they gave them a favor really... last night was watched by 11.5M disgusted and annoyed of under-marking, they gained more sympathy and new voters... hopefully their momentum carry through to final.

AJ & Claudia's AT was a good dance, but to get 10s there needs to be more than just performing the steps really well. An essential part of dance is acting, which is something Claudia needs to do so that she and AJ can show more of a connection to each other.

She was praised for getting into character so the acting argument doesn't wash!

IMO She needs to change her name to Clifton and she will get plenty of 10's and win the extra challenges

I thought their connection in that dance was brilliant. The whole thing was spellbinding. I don't know what more she could have done.

I saw a TV advert for the SCD Tour 2017 and giving details to book tickets.
The tour will feature some of this years contestants. Danny and Louise were the only two names mentioned taking part on the tour who are still in the competition. So I think the judges are desperate for the winner to be someone who will be on the tour. In short, if your name isn't Danny or Louise, you've got no chance winning SCD. I suspect Claudia won't be on the tour next year so the judges don't want her to win for that reason. |

Danny was by far the best of the night and Claudia was fairly marked...she was good but not amazing. Still all this fuss is going to help her with those sympathy votes...nothing like someone being turned into a victim to gain them fans.

I thought Danny & Oti really deserved their 40 but Claudia & AJ edged it for me, i'd have given them 40 too.

However I remain unconvinced that she will ever achieve the degree of style, elegance and grace required for a 10 - save possibly in a jive which is her best hope. |

Danny is streets ahead of the rest and Oti is mesmerising. I haven't a clue what the OP is looking at
.As to the tour argument, it's been made over and over again and is generally a false one. Both Jay and Georgia were doing the tour last year and were damned with pretty faint praise in the final while Kellie, who wasn't, was lauded to the skies. |

I am regularly impressed by her athleticism, vigour and application. She also has a good sense of rhythm.

All this talk of Claudia & AJ being undermarked is hilarious to me & fair enough maybe the AT deserved a couple of 10s but cast your mind back to last week & that Jive was so bloody OVERmarked it's not true plus they were saved unanomously in a DO that was very much 'either/or' in mine & many other posters' opinions!!
These conspiracy theories at this stage of the competition every year are quite frankly laughable!! |

Claudia is so gracious in accepting her scores while at the same time acknowledging she would like a 10. She and AJ are a classy young couple and the public can see that. The low scoring will only do them good and more people will vote for them when they see such accomplished work not given the scores it deserves. It does not put the dancing world in a very good light for those of us looking on and seeing blatant subjective marking.
