It's not a very short career for everyone. Plenty of reality stars have done very well for themselves.

a comedian can also be a very short career, especially one of Joel's talents

I thought Joel had a really good final show. His eating challenge was so funny and natural. I loved him telling the cheesecake to wait up for him. I'd say he is such a ladies man in real life. And why wouldn't he be, he's a babe and seems sound.

Joel was pretty annoying the voice, the teeth...the hyper personality...I see his career being celeb juice etc....he wasn't what funny is...

I don't think he will be returning to acting. Found an old interview with him saying he didn't really like it...

Why are so many people convinced that Joel won't make a success of stand up because they don't find him funny? I don't think Lee Evans is funny at all but I think he's done ok.

He obviously does make people laugh. Just his humour isn't everybody's cup of tea,
I don't like lurid kind of jokes myself which he seems to do a lot.

It's 2016, do we really have to think that just because someone is a bit camp that they are gay? Especially when he has always had girlfriends and there is zero evidence that he is in any way gay.

Didn't mean to cause any offence. Just it would be disappointing to all the girls who lust after him, that's all.
