I like Sam though. Sadly I think her and Ola will be out soon. Hopefully Carol and Joel will make it further because I'd like to see at least one of them as an antidote to Martin and Adam (and to a lesser extent, Larry and Scarlett).

Its got the same format- year in and out - endless eating and creature trials, a preset final two, an obnoxious campmate to test the others, and most people sidelined with nothing to do. The people who vote just reinforce that - by voting for the same people to do the trials - because they don't like them , or do badly , or did well last time. Two thirds of the people there needn't turn up- as they don't even get given a role.
If they spread the tasks around, and went more for the trials that required intelligence and survival smarts, endurance, or physical ability , they would get a far more interesting show, and more people would get a chance to star. if it was a proper survival effort - with a wider range of tests - Sam, Ola , Lisa, and Carol would all be prominent because they are the best combinations of brains and physical ability. As it is, they are background noise, in a 4 person show.

She is absolutely lovely! Gutted she's gone; but, on the bright side, she gets a week in the hotel with her boyfriend.

Gormless and noisy will win the top places, whoever they are each year. Lots of voters aren't relating to intelligence or physical ability and often not to people they haven't seen on reality shows or soaps. Producers push the youngest celebs to the forefront knowing that they're the ones most likely to get the most votes.
So the show has been dumbed down as much as possible and most of the celebs might as well just not be there.
