The ptb aren't the slightest bit interested in changing the format as they are paid to keep the status quo EXACTLY as it is. That's why we have a pair of gormless geordies spinning the same old benny-hill-esque, smiley, chirpy chappy crap year after year, the same old desperate has-beens and wanna-bes-churn-them-out-pretenders playing their parts/parroting the same old worn out scripts, it brings to mind the lyrics of a great old song - "we're just two lost souls living in a fish bowl year after year, going over the same old ground, what have we found?" Yes and this stupid app vote is unfair on those of us who don't have smart phones etc. ( Why do I need internet access when I have my lap top & a land line ???? So why am I penalized ??) I used to vote often in TV programmes but never any more as the system is totally unfair.

They won't change it until the ratings collapse. And there seems to be a thing in reality TV where they don't trust the public to follow a story, or notice someone doing well - so the producers either write the story themselves, or just breed some more spiders....

If we had seen more of Lisa maybe she would have stayed longer? We saw Charlotte do two tasks over the weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. What did we see Lisa Ola Sam and Carol do?

I feel as if I'm watching something so pre planned for Scarlett to win that almost every aspect of the show as it is now is pretty predictable. It's been obvious who won't get airtime, who won't get to do trials, who'll be commentating a lot ( Scarlett).

The ' story' is too obvious. Young woman who can't compete with the others physically or mentally truimphs by being 'cute and funny 'plus in our faces almost nonstop. That might appeal to the demographic that votes most.
Also, is it in the contracts of everyone voted out plus any employees eg on the Extra show to say that Scarlett deserves to win ? Seems so.

This isn't a complaint about her personally. I find her irritating but that's just a personal reaction. If she won fair and square it wouldn't bother me at all.

I think what really bothers me is that producers have taken unpredictability away plus a level playing field. They are directing voters to pay, to do what they're being influenced to do.

Lisa ? She was a good cook and she got on with everyone. Whatever else she's capable of we don't really know. I think they're going to find it difficult ...even more, difficult in future, to get celebs to participate on terms that now include just being props in the background for a pre chosen winner.

Yes, I was sad to see her go. Jordan deserved to go more than anyone else.

Is there a 4th person, it's been the Scarlett, Martin and Adam show with meager supporting roles for the rest if they're lucky. One of the only things absolutely guaranteed to give them airtime is if they're driven to a confrontation with Martin, their obnoxious starring role player. They've managed to eat up a lot of valuable airtime with juvenile tripe.

The interaction/conversations between the camp mates used to be a feature of the show. A damn sight more interesting than chosen people briefly telling their version to camera, being given far too much airtime with relentless critter tasks and often involving downright cruelty.
It's now reduced to 38 minutes viewing time during the first two weeks, if it gets any shorter they may as well not bother.
They've reduced the Extra show to a catastrophic mess focusing mainly on the asinine exploits of 4 hopeless rank amateurs.
No doubt Scarlett will be in that line-up next year.

Lisa would be a great pic for the Xtra show, actually. She has presenting experience, is very warm and can speak English without mangling it! Of course, she's not stupid, so that probably means she's out of contention.

Don't have a problem with Scarlett - she's very quick and smart. Its just that we have seen what Sam or Ola or Carol can do thats impressive - but fleetingly . And Lisa never even got that chance. there's no journey, or discovery, or tests - beyond insects and eating anmal parts, or growth story, or race to win, if you just show two or three people- doing the same things over and over.

Yes was very sad to see Lisa go, especially as it is Scarlett in the Bush Telegraph constantly tonight.
