There isn't normally a sing off in the semi finals it's just the top 3 go through

With the 4 remaining I don't think there are any shocks. Each of them can be a winner anyway. Saara has gotten more popular, 5am may get the rebound vote and Matt and Emily have never been in the B2

It's anyone's to win imo

The X Factor rarely does a bottom two that it should be.

It'll be Saara and Emily because they actually displayed Instrument playing, not using as many vocal gimmicks that the other two acts use, and for having genres that won't necessarily appeal to everyone, and personalities that really won't appeal to everyone.

There has been a bottom two between at the final 4 since 2013.

It will happen again this year, the last bottom two crept from being at the final 6, to the final 5 and then to the final 4. The producers want as much control as they can possibly get.

After the megafix of megafix years that was for katie Weasel, skank Mini Cheryl vs Tesco Mary etc. and then moving to final 4 sing-offs in recent years, by no means will be I surprised if suddenly the final two or final three standing are subject to a new sing-off and the judges cringe-inducingly procrastinate and faux anguish over their "decision" before articulating what the producers want.

I don't think I'd be surprised by any combo of bottom 2, I'd think they are quite close in terms of voting. Saara and Matt are way ahead vocally but I think Emily and 5AM are a lot more marketable so I think this weekend is difficult to predict. Personally I'd like 5AM to leave.

The only shock bottom 2 for me would Matt vs Saara and I would be mad because they are as the best two.

The bottom 2 should be Emily and 5AM

I would love Emily and Matt to be bottom two.

A bottom two with only 4 left is just ridiculous and I've honestly felt that it's just a way of getting the result they want because the public vote hasn't gone their way, thankfully it doesn't always go the way they want (Luke vs Rough Copy for example) and the act with more votes gets through anyway but when it screws someone out of their place in the final that they should have rightfully won by recieving more votes (Mary in Series 7, Lauren in Series 11) it just really annoys me.

I think it's an insult to people who spend time and money to vote only to have the judges/producers ignore the numbers and more or less hand-pick who goes home or stays.

I think 5AM will go home this weekend actually

Should just be on the public vote now ie no bottom two this week.

It is ridiculous. Unfortunately the penny hasn't dropped with too many who just carry on voting without realising that the producers via the judges can effectively override the vote.

Voting for the act you want to save with the judges picking the act they want to send home is just a technicality that stops it from becoming fraudulent.
