When did Lisa call him a 'strange man'? She said he had a childness innocence about him, not that he was strange

I think he is the most genuine person in there...after what he as had to put with from the other camp mates he definitely deserves to win ...Go all the way Martin..

IF Martin is bringing that camp to life Ant and Dec will love him believe me, they dont care who wins or what their like its the show that must be a success, and Martins doing just that... Him and Carole will be there to the end I feel.

I couldn't believe they referred to Martin as strange. Two middle-aged men acting like teenagers to make a living (nothing wrong with that) calling someone strange. The irony.

Ant n Dec aren't really coming across as jolly japesters this series. Dec seems quite spiteful at times and the pair's comic timing has been way off on a few occasions.
I've liked them for a long time but not so much now.

Ant just cannot seem to hide his dislike for martin and his absolute love for Larry in his face and words very annoying

I think their on the golf course too much now chiling out and not into rehearsing as much now.

Their strange is our quirky ...HE was the legend in last nights trial, never mind lousy Larry. Incidentally, I found it rather nauseous when he was groaning doing those press ups.

They've lost their naturalness and ease this year. The interview was stilted and it was odd hearing them pick on one person so much. They could easily have just made a quick reference and asked how they coped with the new arrivals, but to keep on and on asking Lisa what she thought of Martin. Then asking Lisa what everyone else thought of Martin and how he's affected the camp. I'm pleased she wasn't being drawn and stayed respectful, and when pushed enough times, just said "yes he's a character!"

I've never been particularly keen on A&D and disagree to the claims that show wouldn't work without them; in my personal opinion they are extremely overrated and would struggle without an autocue. They're not particularly entertaining this year, with their dislike to Martin being obvious and frustrating as they should remain impartial as presenters. Ant gets on my nerves doing that annoying "Shut Up Martin" voice every time he is mentioned.

There's something disingenuous about Ant, but at least he isn't hiding his disdain for Martin.

They're getting older, Dec isn't that long married. I see they have just signed a three year contract with ITV - is that specifically to include IAC or just generally? Maybe it is a combination of sensing IAC has a shelf life, and thinking they may not want to continue spending two months down under every year. Ant's wife works on Strictly, so she obviously doesn't come with them. Does Dec's? May be they are looking to the future and wondering where IAC goes from here.

I was just making an observation based on what I saw last night, having had no exposure to the rest of the series. But if Ant and Dec are actively trying to demotivate votes then the producers clearly don't want him to win- He just seemed to me to be doing fairly well but I think having looked on here he's too divisive to win imo.

don't shoot the messengers, he's a strange, tubby, orange headed man

I'm getting abit annoyed at this comment too. They're making him out to be a psycho. He's not 'strange', that's the wrong word, he's just abit whacky and crazy, but in a fun way. He's definitely not strange or weird!!!

I certainly don't find Martin 'strange', just rather endearing and he seems to have no ego or agenda in there. His comments last night about not being very confident when he was younger made him all the more endearing if you ask me!
I normally really like Ant and Dec, but for some reason this year Ant in particular isn't coming across very well. I hope Martin wins just to see their faces!

I think you are all making too much of some remarks made over the last few weeks. I would agree that it looked like Ant didn't like Martin to begin with but, to be honest, he wasn't likeable. He snapped at them a couple of times during trials. He was extremely sarcastic to them and about fellow campmates.

But now that he has settled in, he is not so annoying. Even his campmates find him odd but lovable. A fact that Ant and Dec now seem to see for themselves. They and Adam made jokes at his expense during yesterday's trial and he took it the way it was meant - as a joke.

Yes I admit I like Ant and Dec and find them to be excellent presenters. I don't think they are distracted or unprofessional at all. If I ever did think that I wouldn't watch the show. Just like I don't watch the ITV 2 show after giving it a go on the first 2 nights this year, I quickly realised that there was no hope for that show.

I think Ant and Dec have been a bit subdued since they got the pull over the Australian joke they pulled, They will know that the public know about it too, and it would spoil anyone flow to be honest.. I dont think they care a hoot who wins, it wont change their big fat fees, all they want is the show to be a success.

I can't think that Ant & Dec ever say 'what they are told' that's part of their appeal.

Martin is highly unlikeable from where I sit, can't think of anything to recommend him at all, although he did cope with the trial last night much better than I thought he would.

Ant & Dec are surely just picking up on what the camp mates and many of the viewers have thought and said, about Martin?

I also think Martin is strange like most of the contestants have said plus Ant and Dec! You are forgetting that both Ant and Dec said that Martin was very difficult in the earlier trials he did and that was when he was answering them back when they were joking with him. Don't forget that a lot of the swearing and certain comments get cut and edited.

Surely the majority of contestants cannot be wrong when they have all mostly called Martin a strange man, just as Ant and Dec have said? I personally think that Martin is playing a massive game and looking to get through on the sympathy vote!!!!

I don't have a problem with Ant and Dec, I think they do a great job considering all the different characters they have to deal with!

I have always noticed when Ant is talking to female celebrities it’s not their face he is looking at! You’d think being live on TV he wouldn’t be so ‘letchey’ - but he does… clock it…

Anyway – my point to this is that what you see on tv isn’t what it seems, and more so this series they have shown total bias against martin – calling a contestant ‘strange’ several times is not professional.
