Don't know why the newspaper is picking up on this. I reckon they all have that in front of them because they say the wrong thing so often. Dermot is constantly poking them to say "the name of the act your sending home..." It's a strong indication that they don't have earpieces telling them what to say though. Given it's rudimentary nature. Just a piece of paper as a cue card.

Agree, that's what I thought when I saw it, there's been so many instances when they've said the wrong thing or said the name of the person they want to save rather than send home. There's space for her to write in who it is she's sending home, rather than it being pre-printed with a name "telling" her who to send home

Well as a cynic, the VERY first thing I thought was that the line was written suspiciously large and alone on the page for it not to be some way of Simon telling us that he doesn't fix things.
Yes, I agree that it makes sense to have something like that to remind them, but it's the way it was flouted in the air so obviously towards the cameras in a very contrived manner; it looked more like a pre-arranged skit than Sharon just being silly.
Of course Simon fixes things by planning who's going to say what though (IMO).

This is like when people say the earth is flat, there's no point in presenting them with evidence, they'll just provide post hoc justifications or move the goal posts as to what they'll consider evidence. It's amazing how far people are willing to go in terms of losing their own credibility to support these absurd fixing claims.
It's not a conspiracy though, and you would be very, very naive to think that Simon doesn't control everything. Do you really think he doesn't get to see the voting numbers during a live show, and therefore doesn't discuss with the other judges what's going to happen next?

And if he already knows that deadlock/ the actual public vote would get rid of the act he wants to keep for a bit longer, he'll just be bold and get rid of someone. He / she has made several posts either implying people who think there is any level of manipulation on the show are mentally ill, or giving advice to others on how to make posts such as don't write negative things about the acts. Clearly trolling or trying to provoke a reaction.
Drakhen, thank you. Actually, I just noticed that the poster in question came on here recently to say 'Of COURSE Honey G is not a joke. She's the real deal'. That's all we need to know really.

Haha, I've seen things close to that here. I've been accused of working for Simon Cowell. If people are trying to make the point that they're not obsessed with the idea that the world is conspiring against them, the'yre doing a bad job of it.
