I loved the quickstep and the charleston:

For me the only dance that was really very bad, and I do mean bad, was the Paso. It looked as though his mind went blank and didn't know what to do.

All of them! His competent waltz had the least appeal and his cha cha cha the most. I loved his antics on and off the floor as The Mask and watch the extended version of the dance with judges' scores all the time.
I hope fellow fans note how he incorporated his cha cha cha body rub Balls's style into his tango routine and, I believe, in the chathon! ![]() I'm going to miss him and Katya so much. They had a blast as did I watching them. |

He was more than just a novelty or "joke" act, as he was better than Anne Widdicombe, Judy Murray, Kate Garraway and a host of others who "stayed too long". He threw himself into the show, had a wonderful partnership with his pro and cheered up some gloomy days.
For me his 3 memorable dances are 1. The break out dance - Charleston, week 2 2. The laugh out loud and going for it dance - Cha Cha Cha, halloween week 3. The dance that lifted the mood - Gangnam salsa, week before Blackpool |

For me, the first time Ed came out and sold it was his Week 3 Samba to Cuban Pete. I thought his waltz was okay, and his charleston was not bad, but his samba was the first dance of his to make me sit up and take notice
