I am trying to pair my new Samsung Galaxy J3 phone with my Plantronics Voyager 520 headset but the phone keeps saying no nearby Bluetooth devices found.Bluetooth is on on the phone and the headset is switched on can someone advise please.
HOW TO PAIR THE PLANTRONICS VOYAGER 520 BLUETOOTH HEADSET TO YOUR BLUETOOTH PHONE
Use the Interactive pairing guide or follow the instructions below:
Turn on Bluetooth within your phone - Consult phone instruction booklet
Put phone into pairing mode - Consult phone instruction booklet
Put headset into pairing mode - With headset on, push inward and hold Call Control Button until the headset begins to flash red and blue.
Select "Add new device" on your phone.
Select the Plantronics headset when prompted. Enter "0000" as passcode.
Your 520 headset will now have a continuous blue light blinking.
Choose "Yes" if your phones asks if you want to bond to the 520 headset.
Your phone is now paired with the Plantronics 520 headset and ready for use.
Thanks for your reply when I got the phone there was no user manual just the quick start guide.Have just searched online and have found the user manual.I have followed the instructions which are App's, Setting's,Bluetooth turned on scan but still no devices found,It also says your galaxy J3 is currently visible to nearby devices so why does it not find the headset

It doesn't matter that the phone is visible to other devices. The other devices have to be visible to the phone. If the headset has not been put into pairing mode as described above then the phone will not see it.
When the headset is in pairing mode initiate a scan for devices on the phone. If the phone recognises the headset it should list it and you can then select it and add it.
If it is not listed after scanning then either the Bluetooth on the phone or handset is faulty or the phone doesn't recognise the headset as a valid device.
