I agree with @Drakhen in regards to the duets. That used to be one of the most exciting parts of the final for me. They put their ass on the line to get huge stars, and it's quite a let down that the duets either consist of a judge or someone in the SYCO camp. Wouldn't even be surprised if they rolled Nicole out to perform 3 duets.
It really does just hint at how much the show has declined. Even looking at the musical guests, they're mostly all from Simons label. I near dropped dead seeing Lady Gaga was performing next week. Wouldn't put it past them to roll out the ones from Judges houses as duet partners. Speaking of judges house assistants - that's also declined a bit in terms of 'big names'

TBH a Sam Smith duet would have almost certainly sealed the win for Matt regardless of what other songs he or anyone else were to sing in the Final. It's a shame for him that he'll probably have to make do with Nicole now. Yes she can sing, but we've heard it all before.

Saara and Adam Lambert perhaps? He was a judge on X Factor Australia and Saara has namechecked him as her ideal duet partner.

Leona should, but won't be there. Fleur, Louisa and Fifth Harmony are highly likely. It'll be all Syco alumni.
