I'm so happy to have retired
From this, I have to say that I'm happy to admit that I'm glad I was never a teacher.

Its draining, no wonder so many teachers are in support for mental health problems

I dont think Hollyoaks helps, it suggests that you can undermine teachers to get what you want, and constant abuse and bullying of teachers is acceptable

And I suspect that it's worse when you can't be certain of the gender of your headmistress/ headmaster.

Am I the only one finding Sally St. Clair's being a bloke in a dress astonishingly irritating?

Deleted on the grounds of being incredibly offensive

It is hilarious how Mercedes is suddenly a doting mum when she gave up her own son Bobby and never sees him. I don't blame Sandy for wanting Joes kids to live with her, she is family. Though Lexi is actually Freddies daughter so Lexi should really stay with him.

If i remember rightly, the costello dad (i can't remember his name) forced myra to give Bobby to him so he could take him to america. So mercedes didn't even get a say in the matter.

As if Mercedes wanted the kid back then though. The writers don't want to make Mercedes mumsy and have her with children thats why every time she has any they end being taken away. They need to develop Mercedes, i liked her wtht Joe and the kids but what is the betting she'll go back to annoying slapper Mercedes again now.

She mentioned Bobby once recently but in the years since he left she never mentions him.

Oh absolutely. current hollyoaks don't really believe in developing characters. The characters must be as they were originally. doesn't matter if they were developed previously, just regress them, you know, just because. Then try force us to have sympathy for them no matter what, make others become the bad guy or even more unlikeable if needs be.

Absolutely they need to develop her, and progress ste back to 2012. But they aren't going to do that. It won't be long until mercedes goes back to being her original self, give it a week or 2.
