Its probably one of the most shockingly poor episodes of a soap I've ever have the misfortune to watch. I really cannot comprehend now how anyone can defend this guy. He's an absolute clown. In fact that is an insult to clowns because at least they entertain, this is just a horrow show.

Tonight was particularly poor. Inept even.
The return of Kathy has been a disaster and still doesn't ring true.

I have just said exactly the same to my mum that was the worst soap episode ever! I'd rather have Lorraine Newman and that is saying something.
I have enjoyed Corrie more and that also is saying something as I can not stand Corrie usually.
I have defo come to the conclusion SOC is out to ruin EE

This, he was far from perfect but at least it was watchable.
The last few weeks bar a couple of episodes, it has been awful. Tonight was a waste of time.
I have a feeling, EE won't be in Christmas Day's Top 10 unless there is a dramatic turn between now and the 25th. It's on later that night, and I reckon we lose a lot of our older viewers to "Maigriet" on ITV which is on the same time EE is on.

Completely agree. I actually don't know how these dross episodes are being greenlit for viewing.
Unimaginative storylines, no continuity, scenes and story beats on repeat ad infinitum, woefully flat dialogue, repetition of phrasing, weak or missing scene hooks. The list goes on.
I absolutely love EE, so to see it underperforming like this frustrates the hell out of me.

I agree! I used to love it but now it's just awful. The Christmas play is the worst for me at the moment. What has happened seriously?? It's Christmas coming and the storylines are so bad! I never thought I'd say it but I'm actually enjoying Corrie more at the minute and it was terrible a few months back.
