I think I have solved the mystery of the BinGate story-line - I believe that it will culminate in a sponsorship deal with Tesco (a first for the BBC) with Tesco Express taking over the MiniMart and new family (headed by Ruth Jones and Ben Miller) moving into the Square (maybe number 43) - see sneak preview that has been leaked here
