EE: I saw another side to Roxy's character tonight.

For the past 6 years I have often looked down on Roxy's character as a slag, homewrecker and a bitch. Forever living in the shadow of big sister Ronnie, a bigger and more complex character. But tonight I saw another side to her and actually felt sorry for her.
Roxy has always been looked down upon by her family and I believe this has made her feel insignificant. Roxy always tries to do right but normally ends up ruining it. The way Jack and Ronnie (as much as I love her) treated her tonight was appalling. She has to watch Jack (a man who buggered off to France for 2 years leaving her to more or less look after Amy single handed lay with help from Ronnie and Aleks) take her daughter and her sister away from her. Sell her house. And leave her to lodge with the other Mitchells. It's a shame really, as Rita Simons is a very good actress given half a chance and Roxy always had the potential to be as good as her sister, but was never really utilised properly.

I quite agree.

Roxy has always been a likeable and credible character to me and I've felt for her of late; she made a big mistake but no-one died and she's got her act together since. I don't believe Ronnie and Jack are being deliberately harsh, they're doing what they think is best for all the children.

I really felt for Roxy tonight and she certainly did show a steely determination and mature common sense. Ronnie and Jack aren't being deliberately harsh, they're doing what they think is best for all the children (in reality, Ongar isn't far away). I have a feeling they'll come round to Roxy's point of view.

I really hope Roxy doesn't die, she doesn't deserve to

I was never able to take to Roxy at all, won't miss her one bit when she goes.

I do love a bit of Ronnie though and don't mind Jack

It's the same side she's always had. A lazy, selfish, immature waste of space who's not fit to be a mother. I have no sympathy for her.
