For the past 6 years I have often looked down on Roxy's character as a slag, homewrecker and a bitch. Forever living in the shadow of big sister Ronnie, a bigger and more complex character. But tonight I saw another side to her and actually felt sorry for her.
Roxy has always been looked down upon by her family and I believe this has made her feel insignificant. Roxy always tries to do right but normally ends up ruining it. The way Jack and Ronnie (as much as I love her) treated her tonight was appalling. She has to watch Jack (a man who buggered off to France for 2 years leaving her to more or less look after Amy single handed lay with help from Ronnie and Aleks) take her daughter and her sister away from her. Sell her house. And leave her to lodge with the other Mitchells. It's a shame really, as Rita Simons is a very good actress given half a chance and Roxy always had the potential to be as good as her sister, but was never really utilised properly.
