Same Difference
Jedward - 5 Wagner - 3 Honey G - 6 Chico - 4 Johnny Robinson - 9 Rylan Clark - 7 Diva Fever - 2 Stevi Ritchie - 8 2 Shoes - 10 Blonde Electra - 11 The Unconventionals Bratavio I wouldn't class BIB as joke acts as they were reasonably good singers. The Unconventionals especially were very good in their auditions, but were given a song that wasn't suited to their style. For me, the worst joke acts from the highest worst (1) to the lowest best (11) . |

I'm going to rank only the ones that I remember, suffice to say the others were probably dire or seriously thought they could sing and were deluded idiots not joke acts, and I've ranked them in terms of who was the most entertaining-slash-amusing for the longest amount of time:
Stevie Ritchie Chico Honey G Wagner Rylan (who won't be happy to be dubbed a novelty act, but his own OTT dramatics turned him into one) Jedward Probably all of the others here then local cats caterwauling outside your bedroom window at 2am here ...and then Bratavio |

How dare you put Same Difference in the same category as losers like Rylan and Wagner
![]() I disagree with a lot of that list, the only true joke acts were: Chico John & Edward Wagner Rylan Stevi Honey G Bratavio They all fit the typical 'novelty act' edit, whereas the likes of 2 Shoes and Diva Fever didn't. They were more like fodder than anything else. Then you had Frankie who was just pure shite. Give me the joke acts over him any day. |

I'm surprised Frankie Cocozza is not on that list, he was dire.
Would say Johnny Robinson is the best one out of all of them as his singing wasn't that bad. |

I'm not sure Johnny was really a joke act, he was a better singer than most who have been 'serious' acts this series. The show did present him as a joke act with the staging and so on though, so its difficult.
In terms of an act that didn't take it all too seriously and threw themselves into it to just enjoy the experience, then Wagner and probably Jedward would be top of the list. Wagner knew he was crap, he did his performance every week and they had him do some tragic things really looking back, but he always smiled. Hes probably the best joke act, I think jedward took themselves a little more seriously, but they did well out of it, can;t fault them for it even if I didn't like them myself. Honey G is by far the worst they have had, too serious, tragic in terms of talent, no charm, no humour at all in any show. |

I started watching on season 9, so I don't really know about the joke acts before that, but from the few I got to know I would rank them:
1. Rylan Clark.- I genuinely enjoyed most of Rylan performances. sure, he doesn't have a particularly strong voice, but most of his vocals were fine, plus the way he performed made up for that. Definitely the most entertaining act of his season, and I like the fact that he reached until top 5. (Gap) 2. Honey G.- Second place mostly because of all that she has achieved, and I actually like her performances as well, they were fun. Sure, there were a lot of more talented contestants that should've gone further than her, but that doesn't take away some of the creativity she had and how catchy some of her performances were just by spelling her name. (Gap) 3. Blonde Electra.- I liked their audition. Sure, they were really annoying, but they were fine... I guess. Plus, they didn't last enough to really annoy anyone. 4. Stevi Ritchie.- I never liked Stevi, but he was ok. 5. Bratavio.- Just no. |

I don't like the joke acts, although that could be aimed at about 10 of the finalist tbh.
