ED Moira and Emma
Why is Emma suddenly obsessed with Moira? It is a little odd.

She's atoning for killing James by trying to be nice to Moira.
Alternatively, she sees Moira as her next victim. Look out Moria, farms have lots of dangerous machinery around - be very careful what you're doing. |

It seems she's been fixated with Moira for years, since James cheated with her.

Deranged Emma is probably sizing Moira up to be punished

Will Cane save her? Plus where will he get heating for the caravan in a mid field place?

He won't stay in the van. The point of that was to be near Moira. Moira has developed a bad case of ' soap stupidity syndrome. ' She's s forgotten that only a few weeks ago Emma was calling her all sorts because of the rumble in the taxi with James. As if she's d suddenly be best mates with rogue woman she's s both envied and hated for 20 odd years.

Bib she is also grieving the loss of her much-loved daughter without any family support. She is bound to be a bit uncertain and probably cling to anyone to showed her sympathy.
Whatever it is, I don't care. I love Emma and I like this direction for everyone involved. I think it's really interesting how manipulative and conniving Emma can be whilst being seemingly lovely. |

That's right, Emma hates Moira but Moira doesn't hate Emma, and is prepared to give her the benefit of the doubt, she also knows she is unstable and that's why she's cautious.

I like Emma and I like Moira but I'm finding this boring - how many more times is Emma going to be nice to someone whilst having her own agenda?

I do understand Moira appreciating Emma's kindness's and viewing her as an ally in grief. However I still think she would be a bit guarded around her, given their history - she must think Emma is very forgiving indeed! I could completely understand if their had been someone else in a similar situation that she turned to. I also find it hugely unbelievable that Moira's close friends Diane, Chas and Vanessa have offered her such little support. I'm they' re not fellow bereaved but they would be around. It's s just feeling a bit contrived to me - deliberately set up so Moira can be gradually isolated from her friends and family. How long before Adam is driven away by Emma? To me, more than grief, it's s a case of what soaps always do - have people ignore the ones who obviously care for them in favour of the villain.

I don't think it is that odd.
Emma is a mass of contradictions. She can be manipulative, calculating, nasty, dangerous and violent. But she is also capable of kindness, compassion, empathy and guilt. I'm not sure she'd wish a dead child on even Moira and does see befriending her and 'protecting' her from.Cain as atonement for James death, partly because it is what James would have wanted and will be hard for Emma given the history. History is also the reason Moira is accepring ut. She probabky feels she owes Emma so if being at the farm and talking to Moira helps her through James death, she'll let her as she is basically a kind woman. It is also probably nice to have somebody around who she knew when she was a young girl. I think people often reflect on much older memories after a bereavement, happy times so that could well be when they (the Bartin biys and tgeir girlfriends/brides) were young and relatively care free, when Holly was a baby. Emma was around then, nobody else in Moiras day to day life was. Even Adam can't relive those memories as he is too young. I've seen people that couldn't stand each other for years ir decades (often siblings) build new friendships at and in the aftermath of funerals due to shared memories and grief. |

![]() He would either walk to the farm and pick up his own, or walk to the garage. Or maybe he called Lisa and she towed it with the van.
