I think the Ed Balls vote will most likely go to Judge Rinder and Claudia. If that's right, there is a possibility of either Danny or Louise being in a bottom two with Ore for the quarter-finals, with Ore going.

I'd like to see both the Judge and Claudia in the finals, but one or other seems more likely.
My Ed vote is going to Danny. I vote for those that entertain me most not out of sympathy.

The bookies odds just reflect the money wagered. But you're right, the betting community appear to think it's a two horse race.
I'm a little surprised that Danny is not an even stronger favourite, currently available at 4/5. There must have been money for Louise to bring her in to 2/1.
Claudia is at 12/1, Ore at 14/1 and Robert is the complete outsider at 66/1. Fans of Claudia can even get 4/1 against her being top woman, Louise is 2/11 !
I'd say that Danny and Louise are certainties for the final. Robert would have to avoid the bottom 2 which is unlikely, he's toast. Then it's a close call between Claudia and Ore for the third place in the final.
In the final there will be a lot more floating voters, so it's possible there could be a surprise. But when it comes to "wow" dances Danny has more up his sleeve. I don't think there is anything like the concern about "ringers" among the GBP. So I'd say Danny will end up with the prize, with Louise second.

BIB - I think that will all depend on if there is a DO in the semi final, if not Claudia could well get through on the public vote, however if there is a DO I think judges will choose Ore. Personally cant see them leaving it up to the public.

Well, as accountants they will know that there's some decent money to be made if their favourites come in. I don't think Rinder has any earthly chance, but a tenner at 66/1 would give a nice little bit extra for Christmas.
It's the other way round- Bookies don't like favourites to win- they usually lose more that way.

Oh I know. I was referring to the poster's friends who appear to be accountants. Judge Rinder was one of their favourites. As you say, a win for Rinder would be great for the bookies.

Logically it would be between Danny and Louise neither has been in a dance off. Both should make the final. Then one of the other three.

I can't see the judges sending either Danny or Louise home unless they are against each other. Unless either makes an awful error in the dance off. But I remember Pixie Lott so it could happen.

It's going to be almost impossible for JR to stay this week..given he is pretty much guaranteed to be at the bottom of the judges vote (and I doubt they will have any draw scores to help him out).

He'd have to beat everyone in the public vote to be safe....even if Robert came 2nd in the public vote behind Danny..that may well not be enough to keep him out of the bottom two (not when there are only five contestants). It's pretty easy for the judges to ensure who goes at this stage.

Yep. I think RR and Oksana know this too hence why they went for her favourite dance perhaps?

C'mon Judgey! I almost want to vote for him (and I don't vote for him). You know what I mean. If it's literally impossible to progress, how is that fair? I'd swap place in the finals for Danny (who I also don't vote for) and Judgey in a heartbeat.

If you like him, Vote Rinder.

Let's beat the bastards

That isn't a very nice thing to say! I vote for the best dancer which is Danny, in my opinion.

Claudia for the win. Think judges will start giving her marks she deserves.
She gets to final she should do well.

No it isn't Gill! And from a previous ringer fan too!

I have given some votes all over depending on the dances each week.
I've previously given Rinder my floating vote, but attitudes like that mean from now it's Danny all the way

The latest odds show Danny at 1.5, Louise at 3.25 and Claudia at 12.

I find it hard to believe that Danny is such a runaway fabvourite; but even more so that Louise is his biggest competition. Surely Claudia is more popular with the public, and her dance last Saturday showed she is light years ahead of Louise now.

I would expect to see Danny as favourite, but with Claudia close behind...if she keeps improving as she has the last couple of weeks, its going to be a close race to the finish IMO.

We know that Louise has beaten Claudia in the public vote. We don't know that Claudia has beaten Louise in the public vote. It seems sensible to me, especially as based on the scores so far you'd expect Claudia to be lower on the leaderboard this weekend and therefore more likely to be in the dance-off, and more likely to leave. If Claudia makes it to the final (even if via dance-off) then I would expect her odds to come in.

I am pretty convinced that Claudia was top of the phone votes at the weekend (beating both Danny and Louise) and also think she was second last week (again beating Louise but not Danny).
I am basing this on social media stats which seem to have proved pretty much spot on so far this year in predicting bottom two etc.... Of course we will never know for sure and it is subjecture. This week however could be different again, just have to wait and see. I cant see any other winner than Danny though right now.

Claudia is a sweet girl but Louise is the better dancer and well deserving of her place.
My order ATM is
Danny
Louise
Ore
Claudia.

I do think her ace card will be her gymnastics and not her dancing .

I'm not convince that Danny will win. If Claudia is in the final, I think that she will probably win. On Saturday, Claudia had the advantage of a great song. She probably had the best song out of everyone. The vast majority of the audience would have known the song.

Totally agree, most of those that seem to have experience of dancing put Louise as the better dancer.

Last sentence is spot on. I would rather Danny won over Claudia.

Claudia's gymnastics is a proper advantage because she can include it in her routines.

Oh I agree she can and will. The lifts will be 'insane' and 'amazing'. But Danny and the other two, can dance better so I really hope the dancing wins.

I agree.

There's a chance that she might take it too far and people might think that she's not doing that much dancing.

and yet the judges always compliment Claudia's technique and precision... the only criticism she always get is the connection... if she is worst dancer than Ore... Craig wouldn't do that 'chaines turn' in front of million viewers.

who are these people? Claudia always had great timing and posture, but it has only been the last 2 weeks she has relaxed and transitioned much more smoothly between moves. Louise admittedly has had a couple of great dances, but she is limited by her lack of dexterity and her heavy legs. Last Saturday was a fine example of the standard Claudia has reached compared to Louise - the judges scoring them equally was rather silly.

She hasn't wowed me yet although a couple of her dances have been pleasing. The gymnastics have been impressive but then I'd expect that from an Olympic gymnast.
Louis got to a win incorporating his gymnastics less effectively, and dancing less well.People were wowed by a few moves.

On the other hand the last time they put a male trained at dancing at a tertiary level in a final , he won with something he could have done on course, years before - and he beat one of the very best dancers ever on the show.

But on the third hand, the last time a well trained female hit the final , she was beaten by someone who had a journey story and natural talent.

She only won cos she got the anyone but Natalie Gumede & Susanna Reid vote.
I admit by the end of the series Abbey Clancy became a good dancer, but like Louise she lacked passion while dancing.
